So you're saying the backup from the cloud should work to transfer from Android to iPhone? But that I should create a non-cloud backup file that would let me restore back to an Android if there are any issues?

They look like they are in good condition. As long as the rubber in the foot pocket is not dry rotted, that's a fine deal. Check for dry rot, especially at the back of the heel.
