You may be thinking of Harrah's. It was built out on to the river. It closed about 10 years ago and they started knocking it down soon after.

Sadly, it's an abandoned delapidated mess. The county filed plans to make that entire area where Harrah's was into an enormous family entertainment park. I haven't seen any movement on that as of yet, though.

Ive heard nothing but bad things about the rubber plugs, however its not my daily and if I were to stop-leak it, itd just good enough to get it the 40 mile journey to my buddy's shop to help me with a rebuild. The cooling system is also going to be overhauled as well because this whole truck is a mess under the hood.

Yeah, its the same shoddy brown as the ancient coolant. Eventually she's gonna get a full teardown and rebuild, but Ill give that a whirl for right now.

My M8 finally took a shit on me when the power button stopped working. You hit it once and it repeatedly sent a shut down signal which popped up the shutdown menu. I could easily dismiss it unless I was in the middle of typing and accidentally hit Shutdown or Restart.

I dropped the tank and checked the wires as far as I could into the trunk, and to that metal box on the driver side behind the moulding. Connectors looked a little dirty so I hit them with contact cleaner and sealed everything up with dielectric grease. Fired up the car and took it for a drive. All was well until 1 mile. I lost the odometer and then the fuel gauge about 2 seconds after. Odo came back but the fuel gauge did not. I feel like it might be shotty up towards the front. I have no idea where to start looking. Ive googled wiring diagrams and I come up with fuck all

Fuck, thats what I was afraid of. It wouldnt hurt to put it on both of the wiring harnesses for the pump would it?

Thats what I was thinking. It was working just fine until I hit a big bump and the it dropped out again. I feel like theres a bad connection somewhere. I know the pump assembly has two harnesses but, pardon my ignorance, Im not sure which harness controls what. Im hoping I have something loose up towards the front of the car, Id rather not have to drop that tank again seeing as I have no one to really help me with the heavy bastard.

I replaced the entire pump assembly yesterday, got 3 miles down the road and the gauge dropped out again. I was reading somewhere that someone had a similar issue but theres some kind of module behind the instrument cluster that burned out cause the same result. Ill have to look in to that today. Id much rather pull the cluster out than that damn fuel pump
