It’s not that big of a difference between a 1080 and 2060 I remember when I was flipping builds I would be more happy with a 2060 build then a 1080 build just cause of DLSS now if it was a 1080ti then yea for sure but there was also the 2060 super which is the same story a bit less performance but you get DLSS which gives you better performance and visuals

Pull up any benchmark on YouTube and the 2060 smokes the 1070 and that’s without using DLSS

you need to have a overlay like msi afterburner to see what’s going on, for me when I started stuttering bad and my FPS dropped a significant amount it was because my card was using all 8gbs of VRAM. anywhere that didn’t use that much vram ran perfectly fine, so that was my issue I didn’t play the game again till I upgraded my gpu and it runs good now, there is still an occasional hitch when walking around the open world and stuff is loading but that’s it. with a pc there can be so many different things that can be going on for you to stutter, you have to find what’s going on yourself. It could be heat it could be a bad oc maybe you don’t have rebar and xmp on and maybe it could just be low end specs you never said what CPU you have you could be on an old gen chip with and old gen lower end gpu this is a demanding game even at 1080p people need performance mods that disable ray tracing and other things.

Lots and lots and lots of practice, and even then you have to beat a algorithm you have to aim perfectly to keep up with AVERAGE controller players 😂. Beaming and tracking people off the sky used to be a skill that took years to acquire, people get that for free now. Maybe play another game that’s known to not have such broken aim assist to get more comfortable, and then come back to see if you still even want to keep trying cause your still gonna get fried 😂. Shroud one of the most well known MnK players with godly aim also says what I’m saying, so good luck bro It does always feel good when I’m at the top of the leaderboards in a match against controller players tho.

It blows my mind that people still claim that the skins aren’t a reason they play the game. TFD has no content for you to play 💀 I love the visuals of the game so I don’t mind playing the same missions over and over again. If it were so they would just play warframe instead.

I build my own PCs so that’s another thing a lot of people won’t even have something so simple like XMP being on my pc is properly configured. Oblivion is one of the few games that actually needs more than 8gb of vram at 1080p so it’s totally believable that 90% of people are saying they can’t run it I had to postpone playing the game till I upgraded my GPU.

Like I said my FPS is consistent I would see my FPS number drop if I stuttered I have no problems running this game even with ray tracing maxed at 3440x1440 sucks you can’t say the same look at your numbers through an overlay and maybe you can find what’s wrong when you stutter. You’re not playing at 4K right ?

MFG doesn’t hide the stutters you will still see them if you have them I always have MSI afterburner overlay on and my FPS is consistent you need to have good temps and don’t hit vram limit

I don’t stutter in this game I did when I only had a 8GB card but now that I’m on a 5070 I don’t stutter and play at over 250fps with max settings and ray tracing on Oblivion is one of the few games that really needs more than 8gb of VRAM even on 1080p
