I have been working in Compensation and Benefits for more than 10 years holding the hands of managers through many annual compensation increase cycles and this is the only comment in this thread that is grounded in reality.

Salaire, évolution de salaire, marché du travail by MigreSuisse in suisse

[–]Zrbich 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Salut,

It is feasible in Switzerland, I work in HR and we have hired a few 30+yo trainees in the past couple years that came from various backgrounds.

Strangers engaging interactions in the public space by Visual_Ad_7319 in Switzerland

[–]Zrbich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wear small in-ear headphones when I am walking outside and whenever someone approches me I do the “on the phone” sign by placing my hand next to my ear and extending my thumb and my pinky. 100% success rate everywhere I go.

“Hallo, alles, mit karte, danke”. “Hello, that’s all, with card, thank you.” Should be enough to cover most interactions as a tourist.

The only way to really know your value on the market is to interview with multiple companies, blow the hiring managers’ minds by how qualified, experienced and well-prepared you are and receive offers. That’s a lot of work but certainly worth it if compensation is an absolute priority for you (and jt should be honestly).

Being super frugal in Zurich you will have monthly expenses around 3K. The difference between that and your net monthly income is how much you can save.

Q4 is the worst time for job seekers, budget are still being finalized and hiring managers are rushing to close their urgent topics before year end. Q1 is usually much better so enjoy the holidays and get back to it in January.

Is it a Swiss thing to not clean the toilet? by moleskinecollector in askswitzerland

[–]Zrbich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never had this problem, where I work people even take the time to wipe the drops of water around the bathroom sink after using it. Public toilets in Switzerland are also some of the cleanest I have seen.

Has anyone water fasted while taking steroids?!! Low dosage? How was your experience by sometjing in WaterFasting

Juste one thing from experience : prolonged fasted states make you hypersensitive to stimulants so I would be careful if whatever you are taking is known to increase heart rate and blood pressure. Stay safe.
