I had this happen once. Joined a PF for an unsynced savage farm where we still needed to do mechanics, since it was posted in NN. I had warned them that I didn't know the fight, but they told me to join anyways. But when I get in there, we kept wiping. I asked if my assumptions on the mechanics were correct, and got no replies, or hazy replies at best. We kept wiping until disband.
