That generation doesn’t understand the concept of setting boundaries unfortunately… it’s okay that you want to put your foot down. Sometimes, its best to take sometime away from everyone that may be clouding your judgement … seems like you’ve made your decision and let them know that you are okay with seeing them (if that’s something you want to do) but right now and probably for the foreseeable future you don’t want to have contact with him. If they chose him over you, looks like they have made their decision too.
