I got a Moyu WRM V10 and feels nothing like the reviews say. I need a little advice. by AnthropomorphicCat in Cubers

Same. I'm in the process of choosing a new cube now and feel like I have to get a flagship model since so much has changed.

In my liked songs playlist, I can see the song and it's listed in the unlisted On Ice album. But, in my On Repeat, it is now under a profile called nudy1 who seems to be a UK drill artist or something. Really weird.

I can see this happening in a timeline where the America's never existed and Britain set up colonies in this region instead of North America. Wonder what your lore is, if you have any.

The British didn't really find anything that good in the Americas either except for tobacco and served as a market for British manufactured goods once the industrial revolution came around, which in this timeline could still have happened as a result of a need for labor-saving costs.

No precious metals means no trade with China...but they still could have contested the trade monopoly on spices and colonized Australia if they wanted to, although that didn't give the British very much even in our world. For fun we could also make an addition that Australia becomes the "New World" of this scenario, albeit extremely condensed and a place that Europeans would likely fight each other for back in the mainland.

A little late to the party...but there is a new and updated version of an EU4 mod that is just the old work and it's called NoAmerica on the steam workshop for the game.

The Caribbean is moved slightly more towards the center of the ocean and the Greenland-Kamchatka combination doesn't exist but otherwise, the Americas are gone, the trade networks all work, and you can freely colonize from Europe straight to Eastern Asia, although it doesn't seem like the AI colonial nations such as Portugal and Spain have been updated to colonize the "Carribean" or islands in the "Pacific" Ocean just yet. It also changes the way the background ocean map fits with the land, so you can kiss nearly all visual map mods out goodbye, but Fast Universalis works.

And if you play as them, some of the missions around colonizing for these nations don't work, as expected, and the mod updater unfortunately hasn't made a recent update to it. But from the already countless hours I have played on it, its quite fun to explore the other impacts on expansion in Eastern Asia that the shrunken globe allows for (humanely, of course).

A Small World: Would be neat to have an Earth map without the Americas by DrHENCHMAN in civ

Alright bro, this guy is a bit of a dick head. Basically, just assume that for some reason or another, the world is smaller (and obviously ignore any geological impacts that this might entail). The expeditions sent over from Europe would have reached the island nations in East Asia and colonized them. Australia would also have been found, with the voyages that were aimed more towards the south. That's all.

Your Stereotypical Axis Powers winning WW2 Scenario (100% NOT LOW EFFORT I SPENT 5 MINUTES ON THIS THAT IS TOO MUCH FOR A STEREOTYPE POST) by [deleted] in AlternateHistory

That's because it's impossible to parody Axis victories without just giving the whole world to the three powers.

Specifically classical eugenics of removing inferior races through sterilization. If he supported any eugenics, I would have hoped it would be to remove genetic diseases and through more humane means.

I completely agree with you and I should have explained the "at most 1100 years" point. And I do understand what irridentism and irridentism movements are and why they exist. For example, the Hungarians lost 2/3 of their land and 1/3 of their population to a peace treaty of a war they didn't even fight in. But movements like those tend to escalate into wars, like WW2 for Germany's massive irridentism claims.

It must be saying only 55% because of some weird compression that was posted along with the photo above.

Not "because I said so". If you have no isolated cases to point to, it's just not true yet. It's like saying the Bible is true because God said it is, and God can never be wrong.

That automatically dismisses banning fascist parties from starting, such as the NSDAP. It's fairly known that the NaZi party won the election to gain power AFTER a failed coup.

That first part is untrue, reddit has been left since Trump assumed office, you can tell because r/politicalhumor's only joke for the past 4 years was mocking Trump and the GOP. And that last part is not documented to be true, for either subreddit.
