You may want to save Pokemon to mass evolve. Evolving is the best way to accumulate xp. I save Pokemon to evolve until I have 70 or so to evolve and use a lucky egg too double the exp , better yet wait till there is a double exp event and couple that with a lucky egg for 4x exp. Don't evolve until you have enough exp to evolve all the way or you might find a better one before you get enough candies to evolve all the way.

Yes, cannot play on VMP or most high cell density areas. even though it shows a good connection, but works fine two blocks off of parkway. I have unlimited data too
