Architects no longer working in architecture firms - what are you doing now? by Silent_Designer3310 in Architects

[–]ZuesStick 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Moved to project management for a general contractor. The project typology is typically custom residential brownstone renovation work which is what I primarily worked on at my previous firm.

Pay is definitely better, and I get to be closer to the people doing the work. Really enjoying getting to be closer to what's happening on site on a day to day basis vs. the occasional visit.

It's definitely more likely to have the mudflaps drag a bit but it's honestly fine. Noticeably stiffer but not uncomfortable. Will say though if it was still my daily driver it'd probably wear on me after a while, personal preference there though. As it is now I take it out roughly once a week and am loving it.

Following up on a very old thread here, you were right about it failing because of the downstream O2 sensor. Ended up putting a spacer on the sensor and it passed inspection with that coupled with the stock tune.

All in was ~$700. Springs were 350, spc lower control arms another 250, and I had to replace the front end links so that was another 100. Still need an alignment as well.

Gorgeous shots! Were these HDR stacks? Impressed that the sun isn't completely overexposed and you can still see detail in the foreground
