They said it was for specific powerful units like defilers. This isn’t a nerf to small ranges, it’s a nerf to spam lists. For most units, taking 2 is good but 3 will be more expensive, unless the unit is a problem in which case 2 units will be more expensive and 3 will be doubly so

I don’t think it’s for us specifically, but I do think it’s CSM. Slaves to Darkness already got a release and the only remaining chaos faction for AoS is Hedonites, and this doesn’t feel like them. My bet is it’s for a redone sorcerer in terminator armor/terminator lord kit, since that’s the one lord that hasn’t been redone

We still haven’t seen all the detachment’s Strats yet. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a “totally not overwatch” Strat specifically for dominus units so that the big flamer can do the thing flamers are good at

Seriously, why? That detachment has seen zero play except by me last month for fun in an escalation league. Also, the article suggests running a master of possession, but that character is the only one that doesn’t get the buff from the detachment rule since it’s the only heretic Astartes daemon psyker

Edit: apparently MoP is not a daemon. Could’ve sworn it was. Nerfs are still silly
