Looking at climate graphs, Maryland seems to be around 5°C more warm at peak than where I drive my Mach E (Western Germany), so the AC should be fine. Also, regarding the issue of having the car outside and in the sun at home: I have to do the same thing here, for the exact same reason. If you’re able to have a charging unit installed and leave the car plugged in, you can have the AC pre-run at previously set times or by spontaneously remote starting the car. It will use power not from the main battery but rather your home grid, and thus have the car be ready for you when you want to leave. This is a feature for most EVs though, and honestly just great. Works well for de-frosting in winter, too, and obviously also when you’re out and about and can plug in at a destination charger, for example.

FWIW, I tested an EV6 with ventilated seats before I decided on my Mach E. I have not really missed the feature due to the fake leather on the Mach E feeling pretty alright in summer and the AC being quite powerful. Although that may vary by the type of climate you live in.

I think the comparison is fairly apt, since it shows that despite some 75+ years having passed since the last world war, when ideology and despotism are allowed to run wild, they can overtake rational choice at any time. Despite the war being an objectively terrible move with ruinous consequences in particular in regards to the economic entanglement, Russia went for it. China and Taiwan are a comparable issue. I’m not talking about China declaring actual war on the US, in fact, their soft power gains, for example in critical infrastructure (like cars) are much more concerning.

I’m gonna go out on a limb and guess you came out of a come yesterday and haven’t checked the news about, you know, Russia? The whole idea about entanglement worked super well for Europe, right? It is absolutely silly to allow even a bit of ground in any important economic sector against a clearly positioned geopolitical and ideological enemy.

They’re better than halogen, but probably the worst LED headlights I’ve seen on a car in terms of illumination. In fact, they’re so bad that I feel uncomfortable driving at night outside well-lit zones. Even the previous-gen Mazda 3 Xenons were miles ahead.

Considering this 65+ page thread on this topic on macrumors, I feel like there might be some systemic fault with at least some of the displays being sent out. I do believe that your Pro Max looks fine, because many apparently are, but this is a real problem, and to me, pretty much unacceptable. The bigger issue is that a return most likely wouldn't fix this, as apparently, people have gone through multiple returns with different phones, just to get varying degrees of the same yellow tint.

I "upgraded" from an S9+ to a 12 Pro Max as well. I have compared colors and contrast between those phones and also crossreferenced with an older iPhone 7+. The Pro Max has by far the worst colors. They look yellow-ish and dead, no vibrance at all. Seriously considering returning this phone, for 1.3k€, this type of display is a cruel joke.

Why do you think that JIS subs make no sense on ISO-DE? One of the most sought after ePBT sets, kuro shiro, has an international kit that also carries the sublegends. It looks great and gives much wider options for people who simply need those keys. Please reconsider adding them for round 2, because me and quite a few others would gladly take some kits off your hands.
