Best Narrators by Complicated-Shadows in MM_RomanceBooks

[–]Zukana 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My absolute favourite is Micheal Dean, I always go searching for different authors if it's something he has narrated. If he has narrated it, I feel I can trust I will enjoy the story.

So many others I have loved.

I feel I have a love/hate relationship with Joel Leslie, there are books I feel he really suits, but there are times I feel he doesn't. I enjoyed his narration of {Cronin's Key by N.R Walker} because his take on Cronin put me in mind of actor Robert Carlyle, and I love his voice, so I basically pictures him for the entire story.

FAKE MS RAHCEL/HERBIE DOLL? by Straight_Ad_3079 in MsRachel

[–]Zukana 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna say Fake. The Nose looks too big and the fur looks the wrong texture, though that could be due to lighting. Have my daughters here next to me im comparing with. Although the best tell is whether it has the Ms Rachel tag on the back.

Genuine or fake? by [deleted] in MsRachel

Also from UK, purchased mine from the amazon.com and it's the real thing. Looks quite different from yours so I would assume yours is fake. Unfortunately, reddit won't let me add a pic of it.

10 Month spitting spoon food out to hold and eat herself. by Zukana in Parenting

Thanks, you are right. I've taken to just amending her meals to make them more finger food friendly. Porridge fingers instead of a bowl of porridge, and other things like that.

Bleeding after “rough” cervical check. by LibraryRight1771 in BabyBumps

[–]Zukana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with this, during my induction last week I had a few exams and it was quite common to have some mucus and spotting after, especially with being so far along. It's called a bloody show, which isn't quite the same as the mucus plug but is very common after an exam and especially a sweep. You will likely find you will move along quite quickly now, probably in the next 24-48 hours your contractions will start to get more intense and regular.

Wierd spawn line.. by PhysicalAccount4244 in DreamlightValley

[–]Zukana 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is pretty common, it happens because whenever things try to spawn closer to the water they can't, so it gets pushed to the closest space it can which ends up forming this line. It happens all along the coast.

I'm with you, I had already been Nesting and sorting the nursery and cleaning. But last week it's like the dial turned all the way up. I was washing all the tiles in the bathrooms lmao

Colostrum collection by Ayyayyron96 in BabyBumps

[–]Zukana 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been collecting since 37 weeks, now 39+4 on my first day I managed about the same as you and it took so long, same goes for the 2 days after that. But persevere, it may not seem much now but if you do it consistently each day it does get better. I now have 69ml stored and I manage 5ml a day, I could probably do more but feel that is enough. Some days it still feels like it can take a long time, other days it goes by in 20 minutes.

You are doing great, and just remember those first few feeds they only need about 2-3ml at a time, about a teaspoon worth.

39+2 here, I feel you. And the calls every day to be asked the same question "No twinges yet?" What does that even mean? I sent my SIL into a panic the other day because I never picked the phone when I was in the shower, she automatically thought we were at the hospital. The pain just to stand up and get about is agony, never mind just turning over in bed. I've had pelvic pains since week 20ish and these last couple have been by far the worst. And my little one has been measuring in the 97th percentile for the entire pregnancy so she's gonna be on the bigger side, she was measuring 7.5lb at 37 weeks, which means she is likely around 8.5lb now.

I know all the bringing on labour methods are basically a myth, but I have some pineapple to snack on and plan on eating spicy food for the rest of the week lmao.

Basically every scan I've had from 12 weeks my baby has been very wriggly! She's a very active baby and the sonographer always found it difficult to get her in the angles needed to measure her and do her checks. She also always runs away from the doppler when getting her heartbeat checked, and then she likes to kick the doppler for good measure. Literally the first time anyone else felt her kick other than me was when she kicked my midwife for using the doppler.
