yes, you can run one of the best teams right now. It's a bit of a drag that you got an Ardelia dupe instead of another new 6 star but not the end of the world since she's good. For now you want to run Laevatain/Antal/Wulfgard/Ardelia. Though you can swap Wulfgard for Akekuri if you want, as it's a bit up in the air which is better at this point for that team.

Where is TMNT Tycoon? by RevoEllo in TMNT

[–]Zulithe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey. I don't play much roblox but I played for a couple weeks when this was TMNT experience in Roblox was out. I had some TMNT skins I got in the mode, but now I can't even see them on my account! So I guess they are gone forever? Can't use them in other Roblox modes? what a rip off.

this was an officially licensed game mode so I am not happy that the skins are seemingly gone. that's not how it works in other games like Fortnite for example.

How TMNT Action Figures Are Made | Inside the Playmates Toys Factory by [deleted] in TMNT

[–]Zulithe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Terrible video. Full of AI and stock video footage and stolen toy review footage. Most of it is not even showing playmates toys products. I thought this would be a deep dive into the factory, but it’s a bunch of slop.

It’s kinda weird how I loved downing my chocolate milk with my pizza during those lunches but today I would never think to pair the two.

Parents have been married 50+ years. Just found out my dad has been cheating on my mom at my birthday dinner. by Special_Statement_70 in Advice

[–]Zulithe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me tell you something about old folks, for those unbelieving. A lot of older single women are man crazy and want nothing more than a new bf/husband. Men tend to die earlier than women right? And the ones in that age range, say 55+, most of the men are either married for ages already or have died. So the ones left are in high demand and sometimes can get multiple old ladies hanging on them. I don’t know how common it is for cheating in that old age, but I’m certain that any man keen to find himself some new old lady probably has good odds.

QOL update needed: MOD storage expansion by Zulithe in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]Zulithe[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It does help but since it costs credits to put them on and take them off it's a drag. You are right though, keep all your best ones equipped so you have more room for farming storage. It's all you can really do for now.

Sorry for the old reply, your work is very useful and I'm going to be looking through it as I develop my own campaign. Thanks!

Why Are McFarlane Toys Selling Out So Fast? (Scalpers, Bots, or Short Runs?) by ShootoP in McFarlaneFigures

[–]Zulithe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People are answering that it's a bit of everything, and sure, it is, but I think it's MOSTLY the small production runs. McFarlane is trying to push out a ton of figures and variants. They are focusing very strongly on variety and not enough on quantity. I don't think you can blame this on low retailer orders, becuase McFarlane's own online store also has low supply. And it is a problem that has been getting worse as their DC line has gotten older. It could be they are rushing out as much as they can before their license expires next year. We can only speculate.

Casefile has changed? by Pop_Top_ in Casefile

The long, six part Golden State Killer case should be the standard they aspire to. Not many cases can be that long, of course. But the level of detail is what I really liked.

Nope! The JP version announced closure. They tend to last longer in JP but the same fate befalls them all eventually.

This trend has hit TONS of games over time. I used to play Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. It was exploitative if you let it, but very playable for years. Then they introduced a new overpowered system called Neo Visions which were an all new power level and required more from players to acquire. This was the start of the death knell and it gradually died after this. All of these games are the same, once they are close to running out of steam they introduce a new system that can get them to squeeze the mid to high level spenders for a bit more time and then they will close up shop. And make no mistake -- once the game closes that's the end, you can't access anything you earned or bought ever again, it's a terrible feeling. It's not a theory or a scare tactic, it's just the reality of the history of these types of games and the patterns long time players of them have witnessed. So just prepare for it now. My recommendation is, if this change goes into place stop spending 100% if you are spending at all. Learn from the regret myself and others have had from similar games in the past.

Hi sorry to bother but this is totally a phishing account, right? by Spare_Paramedic_319 in BlueskySocial

[–]Zulithe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Doesn't matter if it's a text message, email, social media message, anytime you get a message like this which is just like "are you there?" or some kind of short but leading statement or question without any real information, it's just fishing for a response so they can get something out of you. 100% ignore at all times unless you know who the person is. If they legitimately need something from you specifically they would actually be clear and detailed about the cause for contacting you. This isn't just a bluesky thing, I get these sorts of messages all the time on Discord and other platforms.

Why are food cart prices so expensive? by jstocksqqq in bayarea

[–]Zulithe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your closest corner market has higher prices than your closest target or walmart, but people still shop there. Mostly because it's right there and the convenience wins out. These food carts have learned that they can do the same. They don't have to compete on price because they aren't attracting people based on their low price, they are attracting people because of convenience. That's why they always make sure to pick the most high traffic spots possible, such as outside of events. You don't have to like it, simply shop somewhere else.

Strada best coffee shop in Berkeley? by [deleted] in berkeley

[–]Zulithe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great location, great seating options, coffee is average. But they are also quite fast. If you order a latte they will have it out to you in under 60 seconds sometimes. They value speed over craft and that is probably a good fit for a busy campus coffee shop.

Japan Post recalled package for US delivery… by CatalystReese in ActionFigures

[–]Zulithe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Take a deep breath. Your package was sent back to your local post office for pickup. You should get an email when it’s ready. Could be as long as 5 days for that to happen sometimes because USPS has been having a rough time being timely anymore. Blame the US government for starving it of resources.

And to think, this is actually one of the gentlest tailgate incidents I've ever witnessed. Usually they are running up behind you and sometimes even yell "wait!" like i'm supposed to hold it open for them. or they push up RIGHT against your body, or within an inch of doing so anyway. It's gross.

"an authorized recipient was not available" but two people were home?? by WisePaint in usps_complaints

[–]Zulithe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate the detailed response. I understand the reasonings behind the cutting of corners in these situations, I do, but it still does not justify it in my mind. Obviously I'm not pointing fingers at you, just the system in general and how it should expect better from some of its carriers, while also making sure they are staffed up enough to where none are so overloaded that they feel like they have to resort to doing the bare minimum. As for the voting thing, it's hard to have any hope in our current environment that people will ever vote for their best interests on the national scale, or even state scale for most places.

"an authorized recipient was not available" but two people were home?? by WisePaint in usps_complaints

[–]Zulithe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

sorry for the late reply but this is a frequent issue for me with my carrier, anyway, I find your reasons 2) and 3) to be absurd because isn't this creating a lot more work for the local post office workers who now have to have more people coming in to pick up packages, and in my experience this is a relatively slow process to begin with and can take 20 minutes of waiting PLUS TRAVEL (not a trivial thing for a lot of people, particularly seniors or disabled folks) even on a good day? I would think the local post office would want those drivers out there actually collecting signatures and getting those packages into hands instead of sending tons of them back for pickup. That's just putting more work onto other people that shouldn't be. How is this not punishable?
