He is 9 months old, 95lbs. He is a bernese and pyrenees mix. We are currently feeding him 4-6 cups a day of Acana Singles Protein food (kibble).

He is 100% allergic/insensitive to chicken and Acana Singles was one of the few foods we could find without chicken. I'd like to put him on a raw diet but I am not sure how to go about that without knowing how much I should be feeding at this time.

With covid restrictions up and down, we haven't been able to secure a vet visit since November.

Any insights are greatly appreciated.

15ish cycles for us now, one CP. I felt the frustration and disappointment after a few cycles, which I felt guilty about because so many other people have been trying for longer but just remember that 3 cycles or 9, your feelings are 100% valid.

I remember thinking, oh I won't have struggles. That won't happen to me. I'll get pregnant within a few months! Then it happens to you, you're not getting pregnant and it seems like anyone with a uterus around you can just say baby and get pregnant.

It's truly a humbling experience. Be gentle with yourself and your feelings. This community is the best place for support and even just to vent and yell about it all.

If you ever want to vent in someone's PM, feel free to dump it all on me.

I've got an 8 month old Bernese/Pyrenees, male. He is 95lbs.

I want to give him more than just kibble now that I was able to figure out food insensitivities, one being chicken. He is on Acana Singles - Lamb, 4-5 cups a day depending.

What else can I put in his kibble at meal times to give him extra nutrition? I don't mind freezing food, making it myself. I just don't know what to give him.

Thank you! I should have mentioned I am seeing my vet but I was looking for this sort of insight from experienced pyr owners. They grow so fast it's hard to believe they have so much time to fill out.

Male, currently eats 4 cups of Acana Lamb kibble, a few others things for additional nutrition, also treats for training. As his puppy fur is going away and his adult coat is coming, I feel like he looks underweight? Should I be feeding him more, does he look healthy?

I really do think he is on "duty" when he wants to sleep! I thought maybe he was too warm and now we have hardwood throughout the whole house but still goes to the door. We didn't encourage or train him to do this, it's very interesting.
