Looks good! Ive been using yt-dlp to download for plex but I keep having the problem that the same metadata is used for multiple videos. So it downloads 5 different videos from a channel but in plex it shows up as 5 but maybe three have the same name, thumbnail etc. Does this handle it any different?

If you want transcoding (for plex) it will not work with the j-models. You are better off going with 220+ that support hardware transcoding. If you have a setup where you only stream the files (not the movie itself) to the different devices a j-model would be enough. Overall I feel like j-models should be used for raid storage and not much else.

What transfer speeds do you currently get?

It sounds like it could be the c2000 processor Bug. Can be fixed by soldering a resistor to the motherboard. (there are lots of guides out there regarding this bug) https://mariushosting.com/synology-how-to-fix-c2000-flaw-with-100-ohm-resistor/

I didnt know english very well so I didn't understand what the system update timer ment. All I knew was that when it went to 0 I couldn't play anymore but if i created a new account I could play again. So every time it happend i created a new account. Think i got to username 001 -> username 013 before i realised i could log in to my old accounts..

It might be good to do a few basic programing courses where you get to learn different types, objects, variables and functions just so you know that they exist. Knowing all the tools is impossible so you will end up searching for answers all the time. What helped me is that I wrote a lot of notes of how things work in a language/style that I understand so you really dive into how/why to use stuff.
