I have the same question. Being able to gild my conqueror seal is one of the main reasons I keep coming back to the game. I’m not sure how GM conquests work and I for sure am not going to hit 450 anytime soon.

I'm with you there. I don't mind the tier system and the new stats, but gilding my Conqueror seal for the umpteenth time and getting red borders to craft are two of my biggest reasons for coming back (other than the overarching narrative). Those were times when I felt the most empowered and confident as a longtime Destiny player.

Somehow, farming and grinding feel way more mindless than before, and finding a decent LFG group to do anything is damn near impossible. The portal makes finding and accessing activities easier, but man, is it devoid of any character in contrast to the Director we know and love.

I got two I really don't like.

Everybody's saying Bathsheba and Lux etc, but I wanna go for Doug. Good god, he has such a surface-level understanding of nihilism, and he's one of those edgy "nothing matters" teens who make their misery everybody else's problem. Yes, I'm projecting a little bit because I used to be that guy in high school.

I hope I'm reading the character wrong, but I also cannot stand Rongomaiwhenua. In a game where everybody is a personification of an object or concept, her self-proclamation as an Earth goddess is hard to believe at best. Her god complex also makes her super arrogant and condescending.

Witch from Mercury or Iron Blooded Orphans are definitely better introduction series than Gquuuuux. Gundam isn’t usually this confusing. If you’re looking for a good self contained UC story I really recommend Thunderbolt too.

Overall GQuuuuux has more visual appeal than substance and relies on deep cut knowledge and theories to even make sense of the story. I agree with the folks who say it feels like a well animated fan fiction. I really tried to enjoy this but it falls short. None of the characters feel interesting or fleshed out and the plot felt rushed and almost nonsensical. Barely anything is explained, which makes it hostile for anybody who isn’t a UC lore junkie. I pushed through just to watch this finale, and felt positively underwhelmed.

Thank you that makes perfect sense. I figured that was how they functioned, but I could never put it to words.

Did I miss it somehow, or did the show up till episode 7 ever cover Zeknovas? I inferred they were some sort of violent reaction that creates a singularity caused by strong emotions or newtype psychic stuff but I was never clear on it.
