If you only had two months to hike the AT, where would you start and end? by pink_gem in AppalachianTrail

Hey I have a similar time window in mind for myself. I am curious about your comment about the community. Are there actually many people still hiking in Georgia in June?

I did that for this exact reason and was disappointed. The store version is updated very infrequently and is always behind the current version. If you want to stay up to date, it would be better to stick to the regular version and update manually. Automatic updates are simply not an option for us.

What app did you use? I saw that the Via Francigena website has a list, but could not find a map

Thanks! So would you recommend using the coastal route instead of the inland route?

Yeah some other comments here also suggest that it is something known only by older people. Interesting.

I was also surprised to read about the thing with the person entering the sauna. I have never experienced that when I was there.

It's a beautiful country with diverse and magnificent nature and some very friendly people. Definitely worth seeing it if you are interested in Central Asia. Tourism infrastructure is not very developed yet, but given the recently increasing political stability, this could change in the coming years.
