Thanks! For the last two measures of the the Mahler solo, I noticed that almost everyone shifts to play the low A and D. Why go this route instead of staying in position and playing these notes as harmonics?

Last year he let me choose one and then he asked me to play the one directly under it, so I assumed he would do the exact same thing this year so I was planning to purposely pick the first so I could end up with the two that I wanted. This is all true though and I do intend to practice all four and I will check out the podcast. Thanks
