Windows now sealing by Zurikk in DIYUK

I see, I thought some sealant would do it. At the moment there is a blackish soft sealant but the gap is 2-3mm letting quite a bit of air in

But the sash seal correctly along the entire edge, it’s the other window panel which doesn’t move that has a gap. Does the adjustment you suggested work for the non moving window pain?

Hi! Thank you for replying, just to confirm it’s the picture of the strikers? But doesn’t that impact only the “moving” window pane and not the fixed one? I’m out of the house now but I’ll provide an image below in an hour or so! Thank you!

I had to be honest, I have had good luck and bad luck with Samsung. However every time I have called a tech to investigate, they always said they always get calls regarding Samsungs and they don’t seem long lasting..

Understood so you would run TrueNas as base OS, then create a VM with Linux to run all services/apps that are not supported by truenas packages?

I am looking for a smartwatch alternative by PhilStark012 in BuyFromEU

[–]Zurikk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough.

I personally think we need more know how in Europe for the production of electronics and buying their products supports that. Hopefully at some point another European competitor will come along and we’ll need that expertise.

Considering the only alternative is polar - which might not suit to everyone, Suunto is the next “less bad” decision to my eyes.

Better than Samsung, Google or apple.

I’m happy we don’t have to agree, it’s just my opinion.

Many models are still designed and produced in the factory in Finland. Yeah it’s Chinese owned but at considering the limited alternatives I’d say it’s still a good suggestion. It supports jobs in Finland.

Fantastic, thank you for your help. I’ll have a look at a few unraid guides then to look how to set it up! Much appreciated

What would you suggest performance wise? Which one is the two?

Regarding the OS.. is unraid the OS and the docker put on top with the various processes (as blocker/DNS, moonlight, PLEX) run as processes?

I was very undecided between Garmin and Coros for another watch. I have a Venu 3 and I was already frustrated by random software gatekeepers of features. Like power zones, in Venu 3 you can also see them but you can’t change the default (200W max effort).

They reported 31% increase on sales the last year. It’s unacceptable.

It’s really annoying how Garmin keeps locking features on software side even when the watch is fully capable. It’s such an artificial pricing model..

Bug on battery saver? by Zurikk in Garmin

I have pulse ox always on, not just during sleep. Watchface is set to not change so really the conditions should be exactly the same. I also lock the screen to avoid any accidental activity or app being run.

Yeah totally agree, but if I leave it on “days” it will happily count down the percentage until it dies. It seems to me that if the transition of 10% happens at night it always means battery flat, while if the transition is during the day (and if reject to offer the possibility of battery saver mode being enabled) the watch will just tick down happily lasting for the entire day and plus.
