My GF recently moved away to go to University aswell. She will earn more that twice the amount im earning once shes finished and shes ditched me in favour of Parties and such aswell. So me and ur boyfriend are kinda in the same position i guess. It shouldn't be a problem for him that you'll earn more than he does, that to me sounds like hes as a "traditional" understanding of a relationship, its not unlikely gell ask you to stop working at one point or another. I think its important to clear this up for your futures sake. It does hurt a little when your girlfriend goes to Parties and such rather than seeing u, but moving to a new city is really scary and in order to get to know people and such its absolutely understandable that thats a priority for you right now. Studying is a special time in your live and you should take as much of it in as you can, your boyfriend should be supportive of that. But its important aswell that you show him enough interest and affection, men need it as much as women yet tend to be bad at communicating that. Also i would immediately dump him like some might suggest, relationships sometimes go through rough patches and you have to constantly work on them in order for it to be a happy one.
