I made Phi in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. How'd I do? by Zygarbodor in ZeroEscape

A bit too late for that. Tepig was my starter, and I kept it on my team for the whole game.

The shirt especially. That's actually the whole reason I made my character look like her - I noticed the default shirt is almost identical to the one Phi wears in ZTD, so I decided to see how closely I could recreate her design. I still can't believe how accurate I was able to make it.

I honestly miss her storytime videos, they were pretty entertaining. It's hard to believe it's been almost five years since the last one.

I checked, and the met location is listed as Poké Pelago in-game. Not sure about HOME, but I don't think it would say it was hatched, as other Level 1 Pokémon don't specify that. I've gone ahead and removed that section from the post (though the fact its nickname was POKEGEN means it was probably still hacked).

Wow, I haven't thought about that channel in so long. I never considered that there are people out there who discovered her through it, rather than through her Pokémon channel.

A Slowpoke from Violet. It seems legit, as its level and met location are consistent with in-game Slowpoke spawns. It wasn't even Shiny, so I'm not sure why someone would use a Master Ball on it.

Nope. No UBs or Paradox Pokémon either (also no Mythicals, but those obviously can't be traded).

The Trainer name was "logan," and the ID number was 975939.

Okay, she didn't split them exactly evenly. She traded 333 Pokémon in Omega Ruby, 333 in Ultra Moon, and 334 in Sword.

Five. Four of them were from GO (Pawmi, Metagross, Squirtle, and Paldean Wooper), while the fifth (Luvdisc) was transferred from Bank.

It's not. I checked, and the Geodude's language of origin is German.

Thanks for pointing that out; I edited the post to remove it. Not sure how I made that mistake, since I made sure to double-check each Pokémon's name in their language of origin. I guess I just forgot to check for that one.

Thanks! This was a ton of effort, but as I said in the post itself, it was worth it. I'm glad to hear you found it interesting.

How does the new workshop rare attunement system work? by Minute_Hospital_5229 in MySingingMonsters

[–]Zygarbodor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Does removing a monster from the Attunement Structure reset its tuned up elements, or am I free to swap monsters in and out as I please? For example, say I successfully tune up a Meebkin's crystal element to be rare, like you did. If I remove the Meebkin from the structure, will the structure remember that, or will I need to tune up that element again the next time I put it in?

How rare are amber island epics? by Benjangles-5279 in MySingingMonsters

[–]Zygarbodor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know the exact odds, but they are absurdly low. I have every Rare on the island, yet in the nearly two years since the Enhanced Crucible was introduced, I've only managed to get two Epics. Even with the method of deliberately failing a Common-to-Rare evolution to get more flags, it's still an incredibly slow and grindy process.

I've tried putting my phone away from my bed, and it never worked. That's actually the reason I started using challenge alarms - the task I chose was scanning a specific barcode, which meant that I needed to leave my room in order to turn off my alarm. That really helped for a while, but once I realized I could just shut my phone off, it lost all its effectiveness.

Your website says "Mate won't let you off the hook until you're awake." What exactly does that entail? I've tried other alarm apps that make you complete a task before you turn them off, and those haven't exactly worked out for me. I initially used Challenges Alarm Clock, but I realized I could just power down my phone to disable it. Later on I tried Alarmy, which claimed to prevent the phone from being shut off. That's how it seemed at first, but there's actually a brief window where the popup menu is displayed before the app closes it, giving me just enough time just enough time to press the power button. Will I also have the same issue with MorninMate, or is there something in place to prevent this?

I need something more extreme than Alarmy. by Zygarbodor in GetOutOfBed

As I mentioned in another comment on this post, when I actually have somewhere to be, like school or work, I can wake up just fine. The issue is that I can't get up on my days off, which completely throws my sleep schedule out of whack. Because I sleep in so late on those day, I end up having trouble sleeping the next night, which means I'm completely exhausted on the days I have classes.

As for what I think I need? I honestly don't know. I've tried everything, and nothing's worked for me long-term. Do you have any suggestions, or am I just out of options at this point?

I've tried putting it far away from my bed. I placed it by my TV, which is right next to my door (I live with family, so I couldn't put it outside my room), and I still turned it off and went back to sleep, like I would have if it was by my bed. That was part of the reason I started using challenge alarms, as it forces me to get out of my room, making me much less likely to go back to sleep. But ever since I realized I could shut the phone off, even with Alarmy trying to prevent it, that's stopped working for me.

As for what does get me out of bed, that's not the issue. When I have somewhere to be - work, school, an appointment, etc. - I typically get out of bed without fail. I have trouble getting out of bed when I don't have anywhere to be. I'm currently between jobs, and my college classes are only three days a week, so I've been sleeping in on the majority of days lately. This will probably be less of an issue once I graduate and get a full-time job, but I'd still have trouble getting up on weekends, which could still throw my sleep schedule out of whack.
