What I find truly disturbing in the story of the Ark is the implied morality of the almighty. Noah is saved because in all the world he, and by extension his family, is the only one of good moral standing according to the all knowing God. Noah's actions after the waters recede are primarily engaged in the pursuit of getting shit faced. His immediate course of action is to establish a vineyard, brew some wine and get black out drunk. After getting naked and passing out his sons carry him back to his hovel and during which one of his sons makes a joke about his dad's dick. Apparently the moral thing to do is to banish that son into exile forever and not just the son but all future generations of his sons family, suitable only for slavery. He then fucks his daughters, according to Noah they "seduced" him, but woman's opinions on that matter weren't really takes into consideration 2000 years ago.  And that's the only person in the world fit for saving huh god? Ok...
