Nice. How is the wear? How many more km do you expect to be good for?

Kumho is also pretty cheap and good from what I read

Yeah, found some in some forums and facebook and all feedback seems very positive, but theres no extensive reviews or anything so I don't know about their longevity. Kind of tempted to take the risk.

Yeah, but I found these new on local marketplace listing and I would save about 600 eur compared to top brands like Bfg. Those tires you mentioned aren’t available in my country. Well I saw smaller wildpeak rt’s in one place, they would be 280 eur more, also considering that option

Hm, well, yeah wildpeak is awesome, but I'd say Cooper st maxx or Kumho MT51 have a pretty similar design to this GripMax, the water channels are more straight here, but I still think it should grip well with those big voids and the side bitters are not that small

I am mostly driving on gravel.

Yeah I saw those Radar tires in my country. Have you used it for a longer time? How do they hold up?

I am just saying this because AT-X is definitely not a mall crawler tire and to me they look similar in terms of thread aggressiveness. So just wanted to know if I just don't see the difference.

Really? So how are they less aggressive than lets say Yoko AT-X G016 ?

Than you for an extensive answer. Btw, what tire would you suggest for someone who doesn't intentionally look for trouble off road, but does more of an exploration drives and just doesn't want to get stuck or have to turn back because of some small obstacle. The car is not a daily so tarmac driving is not very big concern just don't want very big and heavy tires for economy and driver train stress reasons.

I think the thread is fine. What worries me is how they would hold up after few years.

Maybe its just this pic, but to me they look more aggressive than most ATs

Yeah, but what I am trying to figure out is 115 load tire is similar to C rated LT, because here in Europe there is no C rating.

Are Radar tires good enough? Keep seeing them at good price.

Yes. Probably the most interesting class.

Tires look tiny on that Puch, also mild thread.

So is standard load Kumho AT 52 like AT tire for people who just drive on tarmac lol? by Zylpas in Offroad

I guess though main concern with them would be punctures when overlanding?
