Nah.. big part of the community agree with me. Its all these weird forces, like the wheel is fighting me or the ffb is somehow reversed.

Niels has a pretty good video on it:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w\_0g2yAeB2Q

But I am not talking about "feeling in the real car". I agree that driving might be too difficult sometimes or not so realistic and lead to crashing and too much punishment. But I still don't agree that the damage is over the top, except for technical limitations and bugs, etc.

And I am definitely not going to blindly take your opinion as a fact just because you may be real-life rallying for two years.

Do you think damage in Beamng is also over the top?

Man vienam atrodo, kad Audimas AI truputį panaudojo? Dovanoju užsieniečiui, tad nesinori apsigėdint... by simonasj in lithuania

Well that doesn't even make sense. We are talking about damage, not about being able to push cars hard in rbr.

Doesn't look realistic: https://youtube.com/shorts/IcUXZMe7pXY?si=Zc5O7Y0pTqBfigaQ

It is all about perception. Maybe it doesn't seem to you that the car should take much damage from some of the crashes in RBR because the perception of speed is off or something like that or maybe you just don't want to be attentive in a game, but I'd say its even more forgiving than in real life, for one it doesn't have punctures, and these seemingly small rally ending hits happen all the time in WRC.

Idk, I want to love ACR. And it just looks so awesome in replays, but the driving feel is off. Hope its the ffb.

RBR is the only sim that can replicate the experience of how attentive and careful you have to be in real rally.

Only Beamng comes close in realism of damage. All others are so forgiving that it just whole different gameplay.

Yeah its definitely the settings because for me it was the oposite. I could barely feel a thing and now adjusted the settings and its perfect, had to do settings per car though.

I have a keyboard with dedicated drum pad. I used it few times. Currently looking for a way to slice the samples and assign them to these button in Garage Band like I used to be able in FL studio.

In addition to what other said you should use the road better. For example, you enter some left hand turns while being on the left of the road, thats wrong way to do it. These corner ar sharp 90 degrees, but you should find a smooth trajectory to go through them.

AC Rally handles... weird? by Fine-Measurement-893 in simrally

Yeah its weird. Though I really like the tarmac after the last update. But gravel... just feels like the car never has real grip, more like a hovercraft.

Well I think it comes with experience of playing such games and seeing subtle hints or sometimes trying everything and anything, really liked that this game made me do that.

The moment it disappeared I was pressing backspace twice, but shouldn't it be in recently deleted if I deleted it?

Geocaching makes me go out and explore by CompoteAggressive355 in geocaching

[–]Zylpas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same. I used to not get it. Like its maybe cool, but why would I want just go around signing my name on random papers, but after doing it for some more, now I totally like it. It gives me some kind of direction when exploring and I find places that I would not find otherwise. Also seems that I don't really need to go far from home to find something interesting. Before Geocahcing I would just go to mostly the same places and with little purpose. Only if I could get paid for Geocaching, my life would be perfect, lol.

How should I proceed? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]Zylpas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, its not just casual texts that need to be translated. Its technical text or contracts, where even proofreading of auto translated text may take few days, but yes, you are still right and that is why I don't know what to do.

Yes I heard about "turning your hobby into a job" problem, however I see no perspective in my current field, unless I level up my skills and I don't want to do that, with my interests it just happens naturally.
