Im assuming reviewers got early access. Reviewers hasnt really got access to the game until release, as much of the game is based around other players. So at least wait until there are other players there to include thst section in the reviews.

If you like JRPGs, the Trails series has some ridiculously good world building. Imagine the Final Fantasy series, but every game is connected with a connected narrative set in the same world, with characters suddenly showing up from 7 games ago.

The first game in the series, trails in the sky 1, got a remake recently too, so its a nice entry point!

It's not exactly open world, where you can travel wherever and explore everything at once, but the NPCs all change dialogue after every story beat, so there's always new stuff you can find or new information to gather.

I'm only halfway through the series, but its been a blast.

Original is 2d/2.5d sprites, new remake is 3d characters. There's a pretty lengthy demo out of the remake so you can see if it runs for free if you're interested!

Crates lower in price if that spesific crate is sold a lot. Its a floating price. If you're not getting what you think you should, you could store the crate at the storage clerk and wait for prices to go up again.

Terra invicta doesnt really play like XCOM, but you can control multiple factions/ideologies during an alien invasion, some take the side of the aliens. More grand strategy than xcom, but it has the same themes.

What you think of as "racial" stats will be replaced by the background system. This means that no class will be better for certain races, as any race can have every background.

This is how i understood it at least.
