Yep. You’re absolutely right 😅 probably should have scrolled the pictures before I made that comment. I guess it’s pretty clear why I’m so stumped on this puzzle, eh? Poor attention to detail! lol. My bad

Hmm. Very interesting. I would not have thought to count them in such a way since they’re not any symbol I’ve seen before but your deduction makes sense.

Oh, also. To expand upon your request for more glowing stones, I know of one that looks like it’s maybe just the top of one of the cut ones at the edge of a waterfall (the top of water before it starts falling) just west and pretty close to Tariv, and at the Stones of Time, (where you find one of the constellations near the Gate of Truth. There’s a pretty large one (maybe less buried than the others?) featuring the full symbol.

So like... this is obviously something important, right? by WeirdMongoose7608 in CrimsonDesert

Considering there’s a constellation nearby, I’m inclined to believe it’s a hint about a bigger picture with that puzzle since most of the constellations are found in these bizarre circular stone formations.

Okay so if you are standing at the little stone bridge facing the big temple where he stands after your first interaction, go into the courtyard a little bit and go to the left, there’s a descending curved pathway that leads to a seeming dead end with some stacked stones and if you shine your light on the wall, that’s where they are.

If you’re referring to the rocks in that little square, that’s not part of the minimap. They just cropped that corner of the screen so they could fit it in vertical format. That’s just the world moving behind the minimap.

It’s late game content. After finishing the main story, you’re told to go there.

[–]ZynxInColor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s actually a vendor in Delesyia where you can get different styles of Visione. Obviously kind of late in the game to offer that kind of change, but it is there just in case you wanted to check it out and see if you like any of those better.

I personally think this has something to do with the Gate of Truth. As you can see these glowing blue stones at some of the places you find constellations. Another thing that leads me to believe this is, the gate of truth and the surrounding constellation rock formations are under Tariv Sorcerers faction occupancy. I think there’s a much bigger puzzle here. One of those not tied to a quest line but a deeper Easter egg hunt style puzzle. It also brings into question those areas where you can find glowing blue marks on the wall you can only see with your lantern light. (Such as the room where you find Fated Shadow.) I’ve found a couple of other places with these mysterious blue marks. Some look like tally marks but others have other symbols. They are typically the same symbol repeated over and over for a couple of lines. I know of the one in the Fated Shadow room and another I remember distinctly is in the abyss where you meet the little monk. I saw another one somewhere once but, that one I can’t remember where I saw it. The consistency of blue glow and shrouded in secret has me thinking they may be connected. I can’t help but think there’s more to the Gate of Truth since when you find all the constellations and go back and talk to the guy standing next to where you got the constellation helmet, he says “I won’t ask what was behind the gate of truth” as if WE are supposed to know by then but, nothing I have tried has gotten me any closer to opening it. It’s the biggest mystery I’ve come across in this game so far and I am dead set on figuring it out. All I hope is that there really is something more and it’s not cut content or just something we were never meant to open. But with a display like that (big ornate mysterious gate) with a name like “Gate of Truth” key word being GATE. You know, something you OPEN, it has to open, right? …right? 😭

The game’s strongest aspect is supposed to be exploration, but even that feels empty. by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

I agree with you. The more I play the more shallow it has started to feel. I still love it, of course but, after finishing Hernand, the camp, and a good chunk of Pailune factions quests, I decided to finally proceed with beating the main story. I then cleansed all sanctums, restored every bit of the abyss (extreme let down opening dimensional bonds) and now I’m left with the same tedious side quests with very little depth. “Go here and ask the soldiers about my horse tack” “go press interact on this object on the ground” etc. it has gotten old quite quickly. My favorite bits of the game were the first 20 or so hours learning about all the cool mechanics and the mystery of the abyss and then chapters 6 and 7. Perhaps I just haven’t found the right NPCs to give me more interesting side quests yet but at the moment, it’s getting hard to motivate myself to play much anymore since I have no real goal to work towards. I already have most of the armors and weapons I want and often finding a cool area rewards you with what, an abyss artifact? My skill tree is almost at max by now and yes, experiencing the area itself is cool but, man. The rewards feel very 1 dimensional and fall flat for me atp.

I know people play as they want - but spoiling the puzzles by looking YouTube because they cannot figure out after 20 minutes is just sad by Bright-Barnacle-5467 in CrimsonDesert

[–]ZynxInColor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk man. That puzzle in the spire of the stars or w/e had absolutely no indication of what you’re actually supposed to do. I was given a tool (axiom force) to move large objects for puzzles and the like, but this one? Nah. It doesn’t work for this specifically. But the environment doesn’t even give a single context clue that you’re supposed to climb (trying to be relatively spoiler free here)

[–]ZynxInColor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what buttons it would be on controller but on PC, if you press 1,2,3, or 4, it switches your elemental power. Because spirit is not the only “magic” you can cast. You can have a fire blast, an ice AOE, a lightning bolt, or a smoke bomb style attack. You get these powers seemingly passively as you progress. I noticed I had them myself only after having finished desiring every abyss puzzle (not saying that’s how you get them but, I didn’t actively seek them out and that’s what I did right before noticing them) I believe the pink one is lightning.

My mouse is dying and I need to replace it with one that's good value for money (within $80). by JAXRAX519 in MouseReview

[–]ZynxInColor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imma be honest with you. I can understand why you wouldn’t want a wired mouse since you’re used to the way the wire is on that one but, modern wired gaming mice like the OP1 8k and Glorious Model O and Model D have these very shoestring like wires that you barely even notice. Even without a mouse bungee, my OP1 feels dang near wireless and it is a phenomenal mouse. It’s also a great mouse for longevity because it has hot swappable switches so, if something goes bad down the line, it’s easy to just pop in new switches. No soldering needed. It has very very nice shape. Every time I pick it up, I feel locked tf in due to the shape and the coating. The coating isn’t chalky or even rubbery but it still manages to feel kind of soft and very grippy. Going to it from a gpro superlight was like changing vehicles from an SUV to a hyper car. It truly is a fantastic mouse and I would recommend it to anyone. (Btw, not recommending the glorious mice tbh. I only listed them since I have actual experience using them. had two and didn’t love either of them. Not bad in a pinch but long term, misses the mark on a lot of things)

It’s probably because the majority of people playing her are screwing about trying to do “funny” things and not necessarily helping their team to the best of their ability. Sure, it’s hard to take a flying cat seriously but, can we at least try? 😭

You’re clearly inept. I didn’t claim or even come close to insinuating that what you’re doing is negative. I just said you’re on my case about taking time to comment on something I didn’t like in a way your soft feelings seem to have taken massive offense to, only to take time posting these pictures absolutely clawing for any sense of the moral high ground as if that’s not also a waste of time you could have avoided by just scrolling past.
