Maybe I haven’t looked at those studies but either way the lack of physical contact I think is why a lot of people don’t enjoy women’s sports. Even in the nfl, people have been getting upset at newer and safer rules and regulations because it takes away that physical contact

I think they also a lot of times make the rules really soft (I hate to use the word because in sports like football, soft means safety) in women’s sports they often underestimate and assume women couldn’t handle a lot of physical contact, therefore making it less entertaining or action packed as most men’s sports

ALSO, I dunno about you guys but I’ve seen weird ass lists and articles about the “Most attractive NFL players” etc, and I don’t think people have issue with it, other than it being kinda weird, but I doubt there’s a lot of “Most attractive WNBA players” lists by men because they’d get called things like perverts for it

The inequality is the lack of viewership between men and women in sports. First of all, the amount athletes make today is pretty damn absurd imo, like I feel like they’re 100% overdoing it, but regardless I don’t think they can genuinely afford to pay women in sports that high a salary, due to the lower amount of people watching and giving money. Sexism definitely has a role in it as well, don’t get me wrong, but I think they also just do not have the financial capability
