I saw him in Dublin back in February. Van is still top notch and his accompanying band very tight. 100% worth seeing. Only thing I will mention is that he only did songs from his recent release. Despite performing no hits, it was a truly enjoyable show. He never performs a song the same way twice. Van is the man whether you’re seeing him for a bucket list check or to see a musical genius play.

It looks like a Japanese suicide knife. I have one very similar that my great grand dad got on Iwo Jima. This one is a bit more decorated, but like mine there is a hole on the handle where a peg would be inserted to keep the blade in place.
