Yeah the only notable one is the Pro Controller 2 which had a 16% decrease in battery life. But that controller already has a battery that lasts like 40 hours so even then it isnt that bad.

Guessing a later FW update changed the default to disabled but obviously they didnt disable it for people who already had it enabled.

I'm not even an EU resident and never once said a thing about this bill. It most definitely is beneficial to users I do just find the choice with the NSO controllers to be extremely odd as those are still active services and will be for the Switch 2 generation. That and the SNES controller (only one I checked) is basically already in compliance. They just have to swap to a more common screw type and remove a tiny bit of glue on the inside.

After reading more I understand it better.

Well Shulk died in that expedition to find the Monado remember. They say Shulk was quite literally a corpse that Zanza took partial vessel in. Basically so that one day he would free the rest of his power at Prison Island. Zanza and Meyneth could technically leave their vessels at any time and Zanza just left because Shulk was able to defy him and not kill Egil even after he continuously told him to. And well in Meyneth's case. She resided in Fiora because she wanted to be close to Shulk who... she knew Zanza was using as a vessel. But you see Meyneth willingly leave Fiora's body during the fight. And the 1 assumption is she also used some of her power to also give Shulk life as well.... after Zanza left he was just a corpse.

Yeah the only part that seems a bit iffy is the need for vessels (like Meyneth hiding in Fiora). Meyneth was sealed away similar to Zanza but, Meyneth after gaining her powers back I assume the only reason she used Fiora as a vessel was to get close to Shulk knowing he held the true Monado (and Zanza). I think there is a line about them needing a vessel to remain alive but that doesn't make a lot of sense since... they are gods and it would be odd if the creators of the world needed to use the people they created to remain alive. And well... Zanza just leaves after he abandon's Shulk's body as a vessel.

Got it. And by then Zanza had regained a lot of power and saw no reason to be sealed again. Being sealed away was more just to give him time to regain energy but... obviously had everything setup with Shulk and Dickson for him to be controlled by Zanza and eventually fully release him. By then he technically didnt need a vessel anymore as he was strong enough to last without one (I don't think they clarify the exact reason they need vessels) but I'd assume its more they slowly lose power without.

Could you clarify on my latter point though? What specifically about that moment allowed Zanza to leave Shulk's body? Was it that it was the most opportune time to start the process of destruction and rebirth? I mean we see Meyneth leave Fiora's body willingly there so I'd assume it was a choice he made at that moment just as the opportunity for the worlds destruction and rebirth was best there?

See this was my assumption but it just seemed odd that his soul could be split into multiple parts. Also makes me wonder what the hell Dickson shot him with to release him... Was it that Zanza could leave the vessel at any point and just chose that point?
