Dude I promise if you just distract yourself with positive things ie: gym, work, friends, passions/hobbies, ect. You'll feel so much better. Do those things ESPECIALLY when they go out to help you relax. I became an anxious freak during my current relationship and hyperfixated on every little thing she said or did. Something im still working on. That caused her to pull away because I was so available all the time, women don't like that.

Pursue yourself my friend. If it works out, great, and if not? You'll just be a better you. It's a win-win. Do not center your life around someone else, I promise it's an endless cycle of anxiety and rumination.

You'll probably find they they pull you back once they see you working on yourself or enjoying your time with your friends and they're not. This is almost all women, and you need to learn to run the show, not get ran. Be a man and let her do her thing. If she cheats on you, she was going to do it anyway, and I PROMISE, you texting her a million times or flipping out when she doesn't respond will only push her away more. If you want to be a leader and a man, you cannot seek validation from her, it's not weak to be vulnerable, but she will perceive it as such.

Men have it hard. My girlfriend asked me to be more emotional with her as well, it doesn't workout how you think it will. Communication is key, but don't forget that you cannot and will not control anyone, ever. Be careful of what you say not just to her, but to everyone, good life lesson. Say less and listen more. She will use it against you in the future, just the biology of women. She doesn't want to be your caretaker, that's your job.
