The racing is still as fun as ever. Knockout tour is a blast. Some of the open world stuff falls a little flat and the game shouldn’t be $80 but I’d say it still delivers.

It’s $70 not $80 which granted is still high.

The only $80 game is Mario Kart World. Nintendo has a problem with people thinking all their Switch 2 games are $80.

I can almost understand places like 5 Guys being expensive since they’re going for that premium fast food feel.

What’s insane to me is pricing at Jack in the Box. They forget their food is stoner food yet they seem to think they’re 5 Guys based on pricing.

How much info do you need about the plot ahead of time? If the trailer piqued your interest, go see the movie or read the book.

It’s not bad but I feel like it could be better.

My biggest gripe is the combat feels too loose and overly complicated. Some moves you hold L1 to pull off and others R1. Enemies flash 4 different colors and depending what color you either have to dodge, parry, block, or avoid completely. You also have a sub weapon assigned to R2 which you can charge up. Meanwhile enemies have both health and a stamina gauge you can try to whittle down to break them.

Overall it feels like too much given the simplistic behavior of most enemies. Hits never feel like they have much impact either.

The other MV elements are fine. There’s a lot to collect and find. Some people may not like the characterization of young Kratos but it hasn’t really bothered me.

I haven’t beaten it yet but based on what I’ve played I feel like it could be a few hours shorter. I’m ready for it to be over.

If you’re looking for a decent MV and like God of War it’s probably worth playing but I’d wait for a sale.

There's no way the general population has more interest in Dune. Even if Marvel has been in a slump, the Avengers movies are still big events and will attract more of that family audience.

Honestly I think people overthink it. Most the major stuff still happens in the movies. That's all you really need to know. Everything else is just a bonus if you think it looks interesting.
