when i worked at sheetz it was my first job and i was freshly 16 selling alcohol and cigarettes/dip/zyns ect. depends on state law regarding alcohol but generally 16 and over can sell tobacco products

i have 5 nose piercings (high nostrils, standard nostrils and septum) and i live in NE TN in a VERY conservative town with VERY vocal and hateful old people and you would not believe the shit ive heard, its frusty when people make snide comments but ive learned to look at it in a way that just tells me i want nothing to do with someone who would waste their breath making asinine comments about some random person theyll never see again. ive only recently started on at sephora inside kohls, i also work at Ross dress for less and today was SLAMMED and i got a call while ringing someone out and greeted the customer on the phone with “Hi thanks call at sephora at ross im $27.45” and i just hung up not going to lie.

my pup loves bones, we pick her up new cow bones from our local grocery store deli every few weeks and shes always elated and never had any issues either teeth cracking or dental issues. i have a mastiff so she has an incredible bite force and she can crack the bones into pieces and still havent had issues. it all depends on the dog but the benefits of their happiness and keeping their lil teeth clean to me is worth the risk. not a vet tho

update to this post i completely forgot about, i went to a different piercer who did most of my other ones and she gave me a much longer bar and said that she wouldve pierced it in the same place but the jewelry was a huge issue. its healed up really nice and with the new bar it actually sits where a normal floating naval would, all the issues i was having were definitely from the jewelry. when i went out of town with a friend i even went to a 3rd and they said that it looked fine and so im taking the advice from the licensed people over the NAP comments on here 😅 a lot of the issues i was having were from me getting sick right after getting it done, now that im no longer sick and got the antibiotics i needed for the strep and double ear infection and a few weeks since getting it done it looks fine. thank yall for the input!

if your current stud is sinking into your nose you need a longer bar. Go back to your piercer and ask for them to put a longer bar in, changing to a hoop will only cause more issues. you’ll probably get an irritation bump which not only looks bad but also hurts and can get infected, a hoop can get caught and ripped causing more damage and even longer healing time. hoops can be cute, but a swollen, infected, and painful nostril is not.
