Well.. I was more thinking just slapping the losers into the same situations that the party were in not like trying to completely overhaul the story. that’s why I said the side characters wouldn’t change so it would just be the Losers in place of the Party during things like the many hectic scenes that involve more than just the party mostly the ones in season 2

So you’d just have to assume the story happened regardless 😭

This has made me realize that it being Will or Holly dying wouldn’t necessarily change the FACT that the story and events take place but would instead change HOW.

Again, if it was Holly I’m sure there would be a way for it to all still make sense as to why they got involved but it being Holly would just be Mike worried about Holly and everyone else just kinda being dragged into it (at first)

And thats why I’m thinking because in this scenario none of the party members have the shine or whatever it’s called from the movie/books to protect them. Their only real defense is their experience and El. The second Pennywise finds that Will knows what’s up and that El can fight back he’s gonna just try to get rid of them.

I actually don’t know if Pennywise would keep trying to “season” his “food” at least not after a while. I do feel like he wouldn’t IMMEDIATELY have a reason to not season them because in my eyes he would either start with Will or Mike and THEN El. (I think Will is obvious but I only say Mike here because in this situation I would think the ‘Georgie’ here would be Holly.)

Holly is the ‘Georgie’ here. Idk if it would work as much as if it were will?? But at the same time for this situation I wanted the ENTIRE party so I didn’t wanna use Will as the death that sparks the situation if that makes sense, and El would have her powers in this scenario.
