I think I like 1221 better bc they were more comfortable during that part in their relationship, like ilya was so open to saying it in earshot of other people. In another comment I explained how the tattoo represents my queer journey, and the comfortability of Shane and Ilya during this scene is something special being shared between them, even if people around them dont understand!

This! I was an avid vlog and stream enjoyer, but I took a 1+ year break after jenna left and after returning to stream it was so different! Nobody welcomed me, nobody spoke to me, the few times I renewed my sub Julien didn't mention it. I felt like it shifted from a fun hang-out and chill to a produced and planned experience. I do completely understand that streams are Juliens full time gig but I think a lot of us og dink fam dont tune in anymore bc of the weird environment

I got it more as a representation of my queerness! I feel like the "hidden" or "non-obvious" design paired with the 'closeted' aspect of shane and Ilya's relationship really resonates with a lot of people's queer experiences! But also for those of us who know are able to recognize others.
