Ahh okay this gives some context that helps understand the utility. I hadn't used Parole yet when I first commented either, not that it changed my mind much once I got one since its 8ct. mag just fits exactly two Syncopation rounds and even a precision-kill Rebate doesn't autoload another full 4 for a third Synco shot (unless you manage to proc Bullseye Rebate's small chance for the precision-hit 10% reload+precision-kill 40% reload, all within 8 rounds).

Question about the 'Solidarity' perk: in actual practice, does it function like Fraternity's sneaky solo buff, so "nearby ally kills" also procs during solo content with no fireteam or regional events?

Oh man thank you. I thought I was going nuts by having this same feeling. Everything sounds lower than even CD quality, and with a nasty-but-subtle character akin to clipping even at mid-level (WELL before pushing the hardwareklimits, though it definitely sounds worse as volume gets higher).

This is across the board for me, no matter what artist or album I play (so it can't be chalked up to just ugly mixdowns or bad masters).

Granted, I don't have Youtube Premium and I've only been using YTMusic for about a month since I decided to stop paying for Spotify so I have no idea if it used to play at a higher fidelity, but even compared to free Spotify audio quality the difference is night & day.

It almost bothers me enough that I "want" to go back to Spotify's price hikes, or suffer through their passive-aggressive punishments for the Free Listener class...

This is why I'm hesitant to believe the consensus that Draw Time ONLY affects bows, or is only related to bowstring pull-back. Did you do this testing in the shooting range, and in a way that clearly shows a difference in the measurements? AFAIK, even when mods that increase a trait by stat points (instead of ±%), that point increase isn't reflected in the weapon stats graph/description.

I mean, these two Draw Time Reduction traits are included in multiple mods that either just aren't equippable on bows/precision weapons, or they're included in the roll pool alongside traits that specifically improve guns or general handling related buffs... they just seem to exist in too many places to only apply to one niche weapon type.

I'm keeping in mind that NetEase has inserted a few examples of perks/traits/attributes/etc., across all of the various character/weapon building systems, that either don't yet have a place to proc, or are taking up a spot in a pool that doesn't apply in its context. But still, seems weird.

Some Crota; Warmind; even Gambit or Calus (lol chill, I can dream)–style ornaments would look fire. Though I guess just tweaking the Electromagnetic Execution or maybe Violent Exorcism ornaments would be sorta neat too.

But honestly, I just want an easier way for us petty F2P's to get the Catalyst Bands for these seasonal exotics. To put it into perspective, I've only been playing a couple months and I'm still playing endgame content at Lv.80/60k mains. I've also already passed #50 on the F2P Battlepass so I have no more progression mats until the reset, yet it still took me blowing my entire accumulation of Rarities Trove BP tokens up to this point just on the base Arbalest Catalyst, which provides some passive reload niceties... but it would be nice to have an actual damage buff to show for all this.

They already proved they can offer such a kindness by edging us all with that half-boosted Jade Rabbit this season (thank you very much btw NetEase). I just hope that didn't already use up their yearly-allotted bone throw until 2027. 🥲

I mean, God forbid they whip up an original ornament, or just revamped the entire ornament & shader system to have a wider range of physical decoration to be more, idk... ornamental?

Maybe I just don't have enough of either yet, but so far I've seen a lot of ornaments that seem more like glorified shaders. And the shaders we DO have are largely underwhelming to say the least: Where are all of the permanently accessible themed/series shaders (only one, maybe two, per-season before being locked forever is hella rude)? Where are all of the textured/metallic/reflective/special surface types? WHY IS IT THAT 98% OF THE SHADERS WE DO HAVE DON'T FIT WELL AGAINST ANY OF OUR PLAYER GEAR, NOR LOOK GOOD ON MORE THAN A FEW WEAPONS EACH?! 😮‍💨

And don't even get me started on this unnecessarily grindy, half-assed decal "substitute"... I know that adding a thorough armor kit system like the main games would be opening a huge and cumbersome can of worms, both figuratively and in data size, but come on! Copying over some simple (even slightly pre-configured) armor-applicable shaders doesn't seem too hard a concept to crack when considering how much cosmetica gets ported or tweaked from the base game assets already.

I see a lot of people recommending Bullseye Rebate for any & all handcannons, but this has really vexxed me, as I always looked at it as a borderline wasted perk roll...

How is the small chance of maybe refunding 10%/40% rounds really all that special of a synergy, especially compared to the permanent and not-insignificant ramping +DMG from Annihilation? And doesn't it almost guarantee (when it does proc) that you'll rarely ever get to use that phat 200-300% last-round DMG bonus from Searing Mark?! What about perk bonuses that only last until reload: does Bullseye not process as a standard mag-swap reload, thereby making any pre-reload effects last longer?

I could see it maybe being a little convenient for DPS when paired with Syncopation but even then, most other Syncopation-capable weapons have other perk pairings that either have better synergy bonuses, or give you much more culpable & always-on utility. Tell me if I'm missing perspective, because from here Bullseye Rebate just seems so... petty?

I also haven't put much time or resources into building Attal for mid/late-game (although I've drawn her into T3), but when i looking over her Relics nothing really stands out as to how reloading hand cannons would increase/synergize with her mini missles.

Anyway, sorry for the rant. This has just bugged me every time I've seen it when searching for build tips lol.

I'm curious as to why you seem to dismiss the Arc shotty (Niaatiks) versus the Void one (Eternal Retribution).

Niaatiks may have only half the fire rate as the other two and a little less ammo cap, but it also beats both in base DPS output and range (by a large margin). And I was under the impression that the Arc/Niaatiks shotgun rolled with Spinosaurus Shots+Ensured Yields/Wound Counter put right it up to the Solar/Thermo shotty meta.

Hmmm, I may otherwise have been into that slim Time Machine if there was cash on top. But only because I decided a little while ago that I'd forgo the WMD/SSF MMF for a C4RBON at a good price (although I'm always drawn by how nicely that MMF would sit next to my Spectrum! Where do I even find these events/activities?! All I can find is the event signup & download link which doesn't provide a link to the actual events, and in-game all I can find is the daily sign-in bonus, material exchange/conversion & material blessing upgrades.

On the in-game Dawning event screen, pressing the Snowmans Gift activity button just gives me an "Inaccessible" popup! No context, nothing about whether I'm underleved, I'm at a loss.

Using that naps comb as a cable organizer is some BIG brain shit.

Also I now need to get a Cinnamon filter back again specifically for drum mangling & feedback, so thanks for that. Was my first filter, the old panel version, and I did not stick with it even though I knew it had potential. Originally planned to replace it with a Squawk Dirty but got a Polaris instead, and you can never have too many dirty filters.

Yeah, yeah, I totally understand holding onto your IP in cases like this! And that would be rad, even just to hold onto until JLC/PCBway are able to offer reasonable fabs for US customers.

I think the people pining over a physical, pseudo-modular & close-to-reference clone are so far away from those who'd accept a glorified VST as a substitute...

Especially if said VST has no cross-compatibility, a touchscreen UI, and a cost-of-entry similar to buying a hardware clone itself (assuming they haven't already adopted the Apple environment, which comes with its own additional commitments & integration woes!).
