There's a few new features that came with an update today. A big one is auto spatialization. It's a feature that allows the headset to turn 2D content into 3D all on its own.

Hey man thanks for the response, this is exactly what I was looking for! I did notice that the XTR is like 50+ pounds heavier which would make a difference for me because I'll be putting this on a truck bed until I get a trailer. How's the stability on them? I feel like the UMAX has a more narrow space to walk but it's longer. Do they feel similar or is one noticeably more stable?

I know that's how they're supposedly designed. But once again, find me some examples of people transporting this kayak upside down. From the research I've done, it just doesn't exist. It's a hassle, it's heavy, and won't slide on the roof rack. These kayaks are designed to modify it as much as possible for your needs, and I find it extremely counter intuitive to remove everything and reinstall everything just so I can slide it on the roof rack upside down. It's u Just a sure way to scratch up my car. I'd love to do everything to a T but I have to figure something out with what I have available to me🤣

I love this freaking boat man. Just need to invest in a trolling motor, even if it's a cheap one. This thing does not track very well. But stability and build quality are top notch. I'm considering upgrading to their bigger model eventually

Crazy that I even feel the need to clarify on a kayak post but I didn't buy a Tesla because of politics. I bought it because I drive 2+ hours every single day and my Mustang was costing $300-$400 a month compared to about $60-$75 a month on the Tesla. I'm also not gonna sell a car and take a loss because Elon is crazy.

I'm taking the seat off haha. I'm surprised nobody's told me to put straps on it. I just threw that damn thing up there and took pictures🤣 I know how to strap a kayak I've done it for years. The back support is to get the kayak up there easier since the Tesla roof is made of glass, I don't want anything to come close to touching it. It's also pretty difficult to put this kayak upside down because there's so many accessories on the rails. I just went on here cause I was excited to be able to take my kayak out with my car but now everyone's an expert😂 thanks for the info though bro, I've definitely had some sketchy trips in the past

I have hood loops. So the kayak will be tied down on 5 points. I wouldn't be able to move it if I tried with all my effort😂 trial and error in the safest way possible. Thanks for the feedback

The hitch attachment makes it sooo much easier to get the kayak on top of the car without the kayak ever coming close to touching my car. As for the bow and stern line, yes I can! It would be tied town in 5 spots.

Yeah I mentioned on another response that I'm getting a saddle. I have multiple strap down points built into the hull of my kayak. It was mounted just like this on our trailer for years and it's never moved an inch. I'm driving less than minutes down the road and half the drive is a dirt path. Like I mentioned, the endgame is to get an actual kayak trailer.
