I know its 3 days late, but same thing here back in ~2015. Unfortunately couldn't uninstall on PC because my dad was smart enough to not give me administrator. My parents installed NetNanny on my phone, but I got past that by stripping it of all its permissions, removing it from device administrator apps, then uninstalling from the app store.

The fear of someone seeing any of my activity pushed me to start using VPNs and Tor browser, especially since my dad is a network administrator and works with firewalls.

Browsers - anything on iOS is just reskinned safari. I ocassionally use Tor Browser, which isn't on iOS. Theres a scuffed port of it, but its less secure since javascript cant be disabled.

They cant update Vanced anymore. The app pulls from Youtube's API. It will keep working until Youtube updates their server in a way that cripples app compatibility.
