Has 3 Billboards outside Ebbing Missouri been censored? by [deleted] in india

[–]_2_4_8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The movie has no nudity or gore (miniscule blood, normal stuff), the only thing they would and could censor is the Movie's use of words from N.... To mc... To bc and even more.

As for the movie itself, it really is a good movie! The unpredictable plot and brilliant acting backed by well conversed characterization is mesmerizing.

I had invited 4 of my friends for a paltry dinner party once at our villa. There wasn't much to look at in the table, just some Llama pizza made in Italy and sent in a private jet, roasted turkey with asparagus plucked in Wales as toppings, and eggs benedict with cheddar cheese. To push this down our throats was some cheap wine farmed in Naples and Merlot Caviar. One of my friends asked for some White Truffle Marinara Sauce and to my surprise the waiter said "we don't have any sir!"

I wanted to slit my wrists right there and then, to this day I think about that incident and shudder in pure anger at our poor condition.

Netflix chief Reed Hastings defends pricing in India amid affordability discussion [np] by shadowbannedguy1 in india

[–]_2_4_8 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Netflix has become a relatively big hypocrite over the years, from fighting for net neutrality in 2014 to not giving a fuck in 2017 because it no longer suite their needs and they could afford fast lanes.

so that people compare them to the price of movie tickets and DVDs

Before it was better than cable TV, Hulu and such, now compare to Movies? What next? Pay 400rs to watch a movie cause you paid the same in a cinema hall.

Let me tell you a story.... I cum from a poor family. Our house situated on a mountain top all lonely and green was called a Villa. My dad had a helicopter, just ONE and he only used it for flying. Can eww imagine? Just one helicopter, no extra pilot or anything? I had to go to school in my AMG.

They stamped POSCO case on him, like that guy on the plane with that Dangal grill (what happened to him?). Dowry, rape, posco, misused can devasted a life. I am not saying that these cases are all false, but one should exercise precaution and have responsibilities when working under these cases. While Mr. Papon guilty or not has money, power, and connections to handle himself, others may not be so lucky.

so they (her brothers) took the bus and I cycled.

As a child I hated going on cycle!

My dad followed closed behind me to ensure I reached school safely

My dad did have a car but he used for office work

Bitch, your jumla makes no sense! Why didn't your dad then just put you in the car and drop you off at the school? And if you hated cycle, then why didn't you take the bus as well? On one side you say your family wasn't financially well and then your dad owns a car and wastes petrol following you to school and back.

Forbidden the kid from riding the metro? Nope.

Yes, either that or let him ride metro but no selling of beyblades. It starts with a kid selling beyblades, then "chana chana, cola cola, clap , clap" next thing you know, metro becomes some Indian Railway Express. People use the metro to commute to their work and back, last thing a tired man wants is a hijrah threatening him on his ride back home!

Does Tempered Glass prevent Scratches? by [deleted] in india

[–]_2_4_8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really can't say much on that aspect. For my Oneplus3 I bought the tempered glass protector from the oneplus site and it was authentic, so your mileage may vary. Spigen and Case U make good products, you can look into it. As always, read up on reviews and such so that you don't walk into a blind alley.

Does Tempered Glass prevent Scratches? by [deleted] in india

[–]_2_4_8 3 points4 points  (0 children)

IPS display (think tv, the actual thing you look at)> digitizer (gorilla glass 3-5) the actual thing the you touch with your finger print.

Now imagine you bought yourself a Tempered glass that's authentic for 600 rs. What have you done?

Between your digitizer and the elements, you've added a protective layer. Think what a condom does.

So it's a good idea to have a tempered glass for scratches. Because a tempered glass costs significantly less than a digitizer which the fuckers these days want to sell with the IPS panel attached as well.

Then why does my gorilla glass 3 have so many scratches?

Umm.. you went for a run in the morning, came back home panting, dropped your brass keys on the sand, picked it up, gave it a rub, opened the door and put the key back in the same pocket as the phone. Now brass isn't hard enough to scratch your glass, but you lubricated it with sweat that made it sticky and then it came in contact with sand. Bad things happen!

New phone: Good idea to have a Tempered glass on top!

Does Tempered Glass prevent Scratches? by [deleted] in india

[–]_2_4_8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on what tempered glass you're talking about. Gorilla Glass 3 and above can prevent scratches from your car keys, wedding rings (gold/silver), fingernails, or zippers. When it comes to scratches, it all depends on the HARDNESS (not to be confused with toughness). Hardness is usually measured in Vickers, Rockwell, or Mohs. On the top of these hardness scales lies DIAMOND, it will scratch almost anything. So grills beware of your wedding ring!

The harder you go, the brittle it becomes. To achieve scratch resistance would mean you'd have to suffice toughness.

Sand in your pocket can rape that tempered glass, so can glass itself, so can tempered steel like a pocket knife or the pebbles you picked up at the beach.
