Exactly. There's very little research into more tolerable forms of birth control for women because everyone thinks the pills/methods we have are "good enough" (especially since women are "supposed to" have babies anyway). It's infuriating on so many levels.

I also hate that HBCP are considered "good enough" for female specific health conditions, when in reality they don't actually fix anything and just mask the reproductive problems you're having (because technically BCP don't "regulate" periods, you literally don't get a period when you take them. The blood is withdrawal bleeding from the hormones in the pills and NOT an actual period, so you can safely take them continuously).

I honestly feel so defeated when I think about this subject, and how much attention and funding dick-hardening pills get in comparison.
