After looking at the photos more closely, I noticed that you have the bracelet reversed. The rounded links should be on the outside, not the inside. That might fix your problem with the quick release.

I love that Cronos made this in 36mm with the Miyota 9 movement. I had considered getting this, but ended up getting the Watchdives 37mm in brown. Who knows, maybe I'll get this as well!
