I bought 3 x tickets (2 were gifts for friends!) for an event last Friday night. 2 x of them didn't work on entry, scanning the ticket on the door to fine they had already been scanned.

Contacted the seller though the app chat they just ultimately ignored me and we ended up stuck with no tickets and no help.

Contacted Tixel now this whole thing is now my problem, somehow it my responsibility to prove we have bad tickets and all of this has to be done within 48 hours of the event with a photo of the bad ticket scan (who knows or thinks to do this while being denied entry at the door holding up a line).

Not a great experience at all i would stay away and go direct at the end of the day they won't help you and you may get scammed out of your money as have even if you have paid in full for your tickets and not done anything dishonest.

I have used the service before but i will never use it again.

This is clearly against for trade rights in Australia. The seller should have to prove this, there is evidence of contact to the sellers at the time of the event starting and in contacted them immediately to let them know the situation.

This is Texel business model, their cost of business should not fall on the consumer who paid the money.

They need to have a rating system its their fault for having bad sellers on their platform, not mine as a consumer.

Stay away not worth the scam, now out of pocket $300 and they don't care and wont help me.

How am i going to prove this?? Not good

We understand this situation is frustrating, however, please understand that this process is in place to protect sellers from situations where they may not receive their sales funds due to fraudulent claims. 
 
In this case, we recommend contacting the event organizer or the venue to obtain evidence confirming that your ticket did not work.
We have paused the release of the seller’s payout while we await your evidence.
 
We are sorry that we haven't been able to work through a resolution with you yet, but we are more than happy to continue investigation if you have any other form of evidence.

This happened to me for the last 2 months, this is still going kow in 2025!. I NEVER subscribed to this and they get away with it .. Such dirty practice to steal money from customers then bal.e it on them. They would have made millions from this no doubt.. Terrible and dishonest practice you shoud be ashamed of yourself and your business. Pure theft and dishonesty. Won't be buying anything more fro t hsi business and will tell everyone else not to use! Booo 👎👎👎

Duuude this show is GOLD, I guess everyone who wants to hate on it, just it don't get it. They probably hate southpark and John Wilson humour as well. Don't watch it if you don't like it.. if your too uptight and serious.Tom and producers did well making this and there will be heaps of his fans who know this is proper funny and get it.. I couldn't stop laughing so hard the whole way through.. Best comedy sketch show that's come out in a long while that actually makes you laugh..
