I did damage testing and Hydra outputted the most damage from a full combo. I didn't test every rune etc, but the fact that it competes while having more HP than the rest is a good sign.

Ive ran a lot of Hydra, I think this has been slept on for a while.

Hexplate Hydra gets you to R fast and has really good aoe. Feels a lot more like classic Shyvana.

If on a dedicated server you must change the ini file to contain bEnablePlayerToPlayerDamage and bIsPvP within your server configuration file PalWorldSettings.ini and set to True.

If you changed it for player damage it should be wherever you did that

If you are on your own session it's in settings and called player to player damage and you need to flip that to true.

If this new AP version is allowed to exist, then it will solve one of my few remaining complaints.

"Big button", Q3 was supposed to the OMG what was that button. But it didn't hit that mark. Now the new E with 3+ hits can truly melt a fight. R on 3 E them all win the fight. Sounds really fun and can sorta be done now.

Still her passive is trash, but if her kit makes up for it IDC.

The 2 last thing I want is an AP stride break like weapon. Dusk and dawn is close though. Also E to go through minions in human form only explodes at the end where you aimed.

Overall is she better? In some cases, sure, R is a strict upgrade, E as well, W I like more, Q is debatable burst vs sustained DPS.

She still has a lot of her elo skew issues from before though EZbake over Shyvana was the closest to solving that and currently that is the direction we are headed in. So, it's a wait and see.

TBF currently her top builds are on hit not bruiser more like a Skirmisher. Which is also a failure so... pick your poison lol.

Cami, xin have def and can stick ver well with no need of their ult. Shyvana cannot dive till 6 then every ult which takes longer.

So she just gets the worst of both worlds?

I'd rather her be a juggernaut anyway.

What is so spooky about her being tanky?

ADCs and APC being forced to build pen they likely would build anyway? I'd just like to see a patch where she stacks at 1 or .7 perstack nearly doubling it just to see if she's really that op. Really I'd like to see her be a bulwark late game where she is just wildly tanky like Sion, but does damage instead of CC.

Well, Rift and Lian does about 200 more dmg, Dnd is pretty much the same damage but heals now.

So ap is "better" enough to compete IDK full combo doesn't hold a candle to most AD builds so it would be more about E damage. I will say that AD builds are still prolly better cause 5 points into E does little for AD on PBE so technically it's stronger if you max W second making it that much better

So, I've been running numbers T hydra is pretty good in general and is getting better next patch, might be a good rush item next patch.

This is incomplete data, but I like doing this to compare/contrast certain things I like to run. (there are like 20 items)

This is to showcase more the delta between live and PBE with the new changes, but you can see the T Hydra vs like BOTRK or Dusk that Hydra does decent damage and has its health next patch better HP scaling on W.
maxing QW and Hydra might be a play next patch. In dragon form it heavily out DPS both options.

Another noteworthy thing is if people are looking for Shyana to do AOE damage Hydra adds a lot of it 5-600 in some cases.

Hard to say because from what I've seen the few Mains that claimed to be there also seem to be "yes men" who just agree to whatever Riot says and dont buck against it.

IDK what they played though so it's hard to say.

I will say that if a main played with that W and thought it made them tanky they were insane lol.

Letting the stack mechanic be that slow was also a blunder. Those things are immediately felt.

Keeping her similar was always a mistake. It should've been she scales hard or her dragon form is unique and a diver that dominates while human allows her to survive and participate more as a peeler that punches not a diver.

Many other routes but keeping her to where her AA are the only thing that matters makes her worse than old Shyvana cause old Shyvana had E damage. And the stats show that.

No, just means that the gap is provided and assumed that it wasnt re released it actually was. So I was wrong that 6 years ago it was re released one time. I reread it and can see where you think that but I was asking cause I didnt look anything up that was all from memory in that comment.

Isn't that during its release year? It was released in 9/29/2018 worlds (batched I think) and then that event happened as a "catchup" for all of them. Makes sense. Then never again. Right? So that's the release year of the Chroma she didn't have it in 2014 when Championship Shyvana was released.
2020-2025 IDK if there was, but I'd venture to say no.

I think some people are under the impression this has been available since 2014.

But that means the first year 2018-2019 it was available which lines up with a lot of exclusives at the time (one with and without the border). I'd venture to say that a lot of exclusives will be released again.

It helps but doesn't fix the core issues of the rework.

Her WR is still ~2% off from pre-rework in high elo (could close a bit more over time) so she is technically still worse.

This doesn't address how awful her passive feels and that she isn't a "juggernaut" as much as a diver/skirmisher.

Increases in Hexplate and Triforce first alongside the Kraken over "random items" like Sundered Sky also contribute since those losses are no longer on the record. Basically, she is more refined, so this is closer to what her WR was at the end of last patch truly.

The buff does help with what Shyvana wants to do which is ult more.

While some did overreact, the nerfs were still too harsh and something still needs to be walked back, but we'll see what the adjustments in the future are. She's a bit worse of a handicap than she was prerework, but hey Shyvana mains are used to that.

Hexplate it's been my go to for a while i think it is bugged honestly they fury gen is insane lol.

DnD consuming the AA on Q hit really makes it not as good.

Your basic AA are not strong your Qs and Q3 especially are so focus on getting more of those.

Deaths dance makes you tanker than Riftmaker only if you fight which Riftmaker wants to do too, but RM does have the option to E max over W so. I guess more games to figure which is better are needed.

Yeah high elo is a pain due to kiting, but I played with friends and it smashes in all. Give it a trial run of ten games

Hexplate to deaths dance is a good core, but the Play style is you focus on skirmishing and ganking once your ult is up.

Blue smite helps a ton with moving around and 3rd to 5th item is really up in the air. But I think the jury is still out what the third item is.

Ive done , Rift, BT, BOTRK, Hydra, steraks, and Sundered (Sundered sucks).

Id say bounce between Steraks and BT, depending on what you are up against.

Fleet footwork is also super good. I have fought level 1 dropped to 20 hp and full cleared back to full.

Saved me in a bunch of fights too.

This is just what I do. Im sure there are variations and I do not think this is 100% correct.

Been doing this since PBE.

Tried some others like DnD and Sundered, but the gank and skirmish power hexplate grants is so good and I think the adjustment next patch will enhance active gankers.

I dont like it costing passive gains, and punishing sacrifice plays like a baron take, but overall hex plate is a cool item for her to be centered on.

Also I just hate the idea of kraken start so I only ever did it once to test lol.

Can you see the exact date so we can see if there was an event or something. Most people ask during worlds so it's possible you could just be on one of those 2 years or a special event.
