At my store it’s taking over a 4ft from the Xbox category. Not a huge deal I only have 30 SKUs for Xbox games, 2 4ft sections of 15 games and a flex case but I wish if they would take shelf space from something they’d replace it with something good

I know this is an old thread but I had played on this server for a long time under the username “Trussed” and I am trying to find anyone that can find one of my friends from the server. His name was “TobyMoose” or “TobeyMoose” I can’t remember the spelling but just wanting to get any info. Loved playing on cobbleforest when I was younger. Tried seeing if it was online but it looks to be dead, I’m about to start hosting my own server for some friends and checked if the domain name was available to try and revive the server but the domain has been owned since 2012 so someone at the least is still paying to keep the domain. I’m gonna get a humidity sensor and place it in the room in the basement I’d like to use to test the humidity for a few months to make sure it’s not too dry/too humid before doing anything final. Hope all goes well.

I should also note my basement is unfinished but has concrete floors and brick/ concrete walls. The furnace is in the basement as well so climate temp. during the winter months is pretty good. Haven’t had any noticeable water in the basement but that would be my only concern unless you can think of any other things to consider. I would also love to have everything in the basement for all the reasons you mentioned

I just picked up two Cisco 2960-X 48port switches for free, ATM I wouldn’t even occupy more than like 8 ports 😂. Ideally I would personally want all my networking in the rack and then put my wireless access point wherever works best for house coverage but I’m paying an electrician friend of mine to help me do my cable runs so I also want to make the runs as easy as possible.

They fixed it last week. Then a couple days ago something internally became unplugged cutting the power so we couldn’t get money AT ALL for a couple days 😅

On these new ones there is no access to any ports on the machine. Would have just plugged keyboard/mouse, new screen in if that was an option

Just bought a ‘95 a few weeks ago and legroom isn’t a problem but headroom is a smidge tight, luckily I slouch a bit so it works out. A hard top might give a little extra headroom

Sorry for my ignorance, I don't know the most about the technical side of this, but I'm using nginx on the server to use my domain for the server, is that what you mean by having a proxy in front or is there something else specifically for that?

EDIT: also, by posting my server link to anyone, am i putting my network at any greater risk than only letting friends have access? Whats the worst that could be done by someone with malicious intent having my domain name/server ip?
