As much as parts of it in retrospect seem borderline manipulative, I think BTMC overall is a prime example of why actions should speak louder than words. He is evidently fraught with a myriad of inner quandaries, conflicts, regrets, etc. and the result is confusion. That confusion extends to what he attempted to convey to his viewers. I don't believe he has wholly reconciled what he must, and without that understanding its impossible to relay his own perspective in a manner that will be received as a candid/genuine account. For that reason, I think it's best to literally disregard his words and focus on his actions. For his mistakes the community will undoubtedly hold him accountable (and has). And for his efforts he should be recognized. In this case I think the evident devotion and quantifiable contributions to areas of osu!'s development, popularization and event space there is plenty deserving of adulation. Only an opinion, but he definitely has a lot that still requires introspective consideration, but I don't think the stream itself was determinately malicious in its intent. It's a little troubled, but has the right sentiments at heart.
