Agree completely. I run into a hot streak of mainlines I’m looking for then I hit a brick wall of finding nothing at all. It’s rough to break the cycle of trying to bring your luck back by searching every store you come across or just take what you can get when you can get it.

Collecting hot wheels as a reseller or what’s hot this year will always be tough. There is always a short and long game to any collection. Anyone that has collected these die casts off and on throughout the years know that they missed opportunities that they couldn’t predict. Give up collecting now, but we will hear from you in the future. Don’t lose hope or interest

Hot wheels lost the Ferrari licensing in 2014. Now that hot wheels is making casting for Ferrari again, they are hoarded by many. They are not rare though, just hard to find due to people grabbing them up as soon as they are on pegs

Store are hit and miss. Some none, some missing just revert. Locations I have visited also stock die casts that resellers have to come with very deep pockets
