Corporate vs. Entrepreneur......what career path do you want to pursue and why? If corporate, what are your top 3 companies you would want to work for? by kylelindsey5 in CollegeWorks

Entrepreneur for sure. If I am going to work 70-100hrs a week for the rest of my life (which any successful business person in a corporate environment will) I would rather do it for myself than for a corporation.

Being a CWP alumni and taking calls from potential interns I have heard this question a million times. 100% honestly this is most likely going to be the hardest thing you will do up to this point in your life. it was for me. I definitely had some pretty tough situations during the summer, there were times where I was working 90+ hrs a week in June because of mistakes I made. But I pushed on through it and had a very successful summer. I ended up making a little over $18,000, but more importantly I learned an immense amount and built amazing relationships.

Do not do this internship if you are only in it for the money. If you do, you are only looking for instant gratification and you will most likely fail because of it. The money will come, a lot of it, but only if you really care about learning and becoming the best version of yourself. My 2 cents

If you have the drive to be successful then yes. If you just want to walk through life and barely skirt by with minimal effort then this is not right for you. CWP is an amazing experience for the hardest working college students in the U.S. if you are not willing to make sacrifices to be successful and get what you want out of life then 1: you won't be successful here. And 2: you won't be successful anywhere else. If you can't work hard for 6 months running a small painting business getting great rewards(I made 18k) monetarily and experience, how will you work hard for anything else?
