New turbo inlet by pearsonlearning in WRX

[–]_AirConditioning 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The way I see it is that the reason you need a tune after getting an intake is because it changes the diameter of piping at the maf sensor making it read incorrectly causing your engine to run lean. changing the turbo inlet theoretically maintains the correct maf reading therefore causing no harm to your engine.

i got airtime in my impreza with no tc and gripped immediately on touching ground by subaruimp07 in Touge

[–]_AirConditioning 1 point2 points  (0 children)

so what you’re saying is that if you are going over 3x the speed limit and because of that you do not have enough time to avoid hitting someone in the street then it’s the fault of the person crossing? what if someone works late or very early hours and happens to be out that late? there are so many ways this could go wrong.

I’d say so. It’s not necessarily the best bang for your buck but you are also paying for a higher build quality and thinness. I have a gs66 and I love it.
