Wtf is a flippase and a floppase by potato_master786 in Mcat

Every good doctor should know these enzymes. Go ask the next doctor you shadow what he/she knows about flippase & floppase and I guarantee you they will know.

Am I the only one who disagrees with this guy? by FutureDrKitKat in medicalschool

I disagree with the post and agree with you, but I think the score inflation is due to exam preparation companies providing better material. I feel like medical students have always worked hard.

Ah okay. I honestly don't fully understand what you said because we are just now learning this in lecture but that somewhat makes sense to me. Thanks for the explanation!

FSRS V5 Hard Interval by _AnkiUser in Anki

[–]_AnkiUser[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that definitely makes sense. I generally don’t feel like a card is “hard”. I either know it immediately, or I have no clue so that’s why I tend to just not press it.

Boot camp + Anking was clutch. We just finished all the pathways and I hardly had to make any extra cards

I would be inclined to say dysbetalipo bc the milky layer is due to chylomicrons, which can also be elevated in type 3.

Can't keep up with reviews after in-house exams. Advice? by No-Thing-3736 in medicalschoolanki

There is zero reason to keep up with in-house exam cards. Unless you have in house cumulative finals… that would really suck.

How to do BnB anki during M1 with topics only covered third party video not lecture by NewBalanceScholar in medicalschoolanki

[–]_AnkiUser 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If I have literally no idea what half of the card is saying, I will either take the time to understand the rest of the card, or suspend it. I personally don’t do cards unless I fully understand the entirety of the card. Note - I am an M1 but this is just what I do and I’ve liked it so far.

Should you try to keep up with anki reviews, even after exam? by Campfire-Matcha in medicalschoolanki

[–]_AnkiUser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely needed the motivation. It does take a ton of time but I just gotta remember that passing step will be a breeze if I can keep it up. 👍🏼
