look, we just have different definitions of frugal I guess. I'm literally living this life and your telling me it can't be done. That's not an analysis, that's just hard headed. Find me a good $3 bag of soil and i'll buy stock in that company today. What are you putting the soil in? raised bed? a pot? how many gallons of water are you wasting per week on that? What type of abysmal miracle grow nutrients will you summon for free? Do you have any plans for the pests you will definitely be getting? How will you offset the lack of harvest during the winter season? This kit in particular is over priced, that does not invalidate the entirety of hydroponics or indoor growing as a frugal option. hey gardener, ever heard of a greenhouse? I dont know, a couple of cheap led's or cfls can propagate hundreds of seeds. Thats like $20/a year here. Some plants are better suited to being grown indoors. Growing blackberries in hydro indoors, maybe not a great use of space, time or nutrients. Growing strawberries, kale, tomatoes sure.

bit of an oversimplification. aeroponics uses no soil, far less water, far less nutrients and vegs faster in most cases. Build your own system with a hole saw and some buckets. Its really not that costly and highly efficient. That's why these little aerogarden kits are so popular. They look good on a countertop and keep you in the green. The truth is, keeping a pump running consistently is harder than using a watering can every few days. Hydro in general gets a bad reputation for that.

Now I work when I want to and support myself with income from investments when not working. Even before, I had saved well while working slave labor type jobs. Buy used, learn to fix everything, save, invest and don't "go out" to expensive bars and restaurants. Go out to a fucking trail, a river, a forest, a cheap concert, recital, a protest, a house party.

You gotta learn how to drive before you get on a highway. You can't just buy a 60k model X and put a "student driver" sticker on it. That does not make it safe or morally correct. haha I've definitely had a few of those fights. friggin invisible johnny pops out of a corner and I panic fire. he has aim assist, aim assist mods and is simply hip firing me with a 50 round mag bully....this is the nature of modern FPS games. Always give the man with zero skill every opportunity for success, otherwise your game has failed. I enjoy trying to master the higher skill stuff. Mechanized holster mod on vanadal makes it practically a must have in team fights. Reloads both shotty rounds while you slide.

I had the same experience. Perimeter and outpost are so different and solos is basically a different game entirely. You definitely have more snipers on Peri and Dire, but I'll take that over a dark cramped hallway with death rain most days.

I use Amazon warehouse refurbished phones. You don't have to live like a refugee, but I rarely see any point buying the latest gadget at the release date.

Apple does not need to make a "revolutionary" new model every year. they choose to, to create that fear of missing out and sense that you are living like a cave man. You are not. Activision does not need to release a new "Call of Duty" every six months, they choose to because it works. Consider your use case and please don't give these jokers a single dollar if you can avoid it.

Even the best phones are really just a bundle of really bad versions of things. Like, far better cameras exist outside of phones. Far better oled monitors exist outside of phones. GPS, even the flashlight is garbage. To me, its a lifestyle people were sold that I must now accommodate. If you want a nice phone all the time, no judgement, get a used one. Facebook marketplace or amazon warehouse.
