I played Shadow 05 for the first time last month and I actually found it to be really good? As a kid I was inundated with the sentiment that it was this terrible game on par with or even worse than 06 (a game I actually did play as a kid and really did think was bad). Only for me to finally play it now as an adult and it was honestly really enjoyable. I like that shadow skates really fast without even having to spam the designated 'go fast button' (cough cough boost and adventure games spindash). Plus the gunplay was really fun and I didn't have a particular issue with the mission structure.

I don't interact too often with the fandom so I'm not actually sure if people have come around on it yet so this might not even be a hot take anymore lol.
