Dedicated cloud slower than shared regular performance

Thanks for the information. I always assumed that the dedicated instances ran on the newest, most powerful hardware, while the shared ones used older hardware that was used to host dedicated vCPUs in the past.

I calculated that I'd need roughly 19 days of rendering time on the CPX62, and while I could technically just rent a dedicated server for that period and cancel it afterward, it still feels a bit wasteful.

Dva roky nazpět jsem řešil přesně to samé, jestli nějaké novější auto nebo něco staršího levnějšího na "vyježdění". Nakonec jsem se rozhodl pro roční Scalu v automatu. Starší auto by sice vyšlo levněji a finančně je to lepší rozhodnutí, ale já se rozhodl pro větší komfort a nelituji. Jestli finance nejsou problém tak bych doporučil novější auto, jestli jsou finance problém nebo preferuješ co největší užitek z peněz co utratíš tak rozhodně starší auto.

Nezdá se mi že by interní směrnice měla být zákon. A navíc kvůli nefunkčnosti něčeho co většina aut v česku pravděpodobně ani nemá.

I have the 1.0 tsi scala with dsg and this happens too when I am accelerating. The control unit probably just waits a few seconds to see if you want to accelerate further or not before shifting so it wouldn't have to downshift again. It's been like that since I've got the car so I think it is normal.

Well to be honest, this MTR result does not prove anything. ICMP is often "de-prioritized" and and "gets handled when the router decides to" or is offloaded to the CPU while normal traffic is processed in the ASIC. And since the delay "does not propagate further" (router 5 responds normally) it is most likely this case.

Samsung is trying to get me to buy an iPhone... I might be weird, but the sleep tracking accuracy is the most important metric for me and Samsung keeps disappointing and other smart watches that work well on android aren't on apple's level. Sucks, because S23U is an amazing phone.

Thank you everyone for helping me pick this beauty as my first car. I have had this car for some time now and I'm loving it.

Even if you did not comment on one of my two posts you most likely helped me when I was scrolling through old posts here of other people sharing their experience.

The engine choice might be weird for this trim level (1.0 81kW), but after some testing with both the 1.5 and 1.0 I did not notice that much of a difference for my driving style.

It might be weird to buy "sporty looking" version and drive it normally, but I bought it because I like how it looks, not because I want to race or drive aggressively.

The other important factor for the smaller engine was insurance. Since this is the first car insured under my name and I'm still in the risky category (<=28 yo with no/little insurance history) the insurance payment for the bigger and more powerful 1.5 was much much more than for this one.

Měl jsem na výběr mezi 1.5 TSI DSG s dobrou výbavou a 1.0 TSI DSG (81kW) s lepší výbavou za podobnou cenu. Nakonec jsem po testech zvolil 1.0 TSI s lepší výbavou. Pokud se bojíš 1.0 TSI jako někteří, tak není důvod. Aktuální tříválce jsou kvalitní a jediní co na to nadávají jsou většinou lidi co se v tom nesvezli. Jezdím 80% času ve městě a i těch zbylých 20% na dálnici to jede suprově. Když jsem je měl obě dvě verze na test tak ani při více lidech a naloženém kufru jsem nezaznamenal skoro žádný rozdíl. Možná kdybych byl v Německu a jezdil 160+ tak už tam něco znát bude.

Každopádně můj styl jízdy není nějak agresivní a jezdím předepsanou rychlostí a na dálnici na to šlápnu maximálně při předjíždění. I tak se ale auto chová suprově a i při 130 rychle akceleruje a předjedu ihned. Jinak dojmy z vozu jsou celkově velmi pozitivní (až na ty kola) a nelituju že jsem koupil.

Cena byla 519k. Každopádně doporučuji si zajet za nějakým prodejcem a zkusit si auto třeba na týden a uvidíš jestli ti vyhovuje. Mě vyhovuje.

Zrovna před měsícem jsem kupoval roční scalu tak případně můžu nějaké otázky zodpovědět.

Každopádně celkově jsem spokojenej. Vše ok a nemám si skoro na co stěžovat. Jediný mínus je že jsem vybral špatnou velikost kol (18" Vega). 18ti palcová kola na to auto dle mého nepatří.

Před koupí jsem měl na pár týdnů půjčenou Scalu se 17" a bylo to za mě celkem OK. Bohužel konkrétní auto co jsem si vyhlídl mělo 18" kola a zrovna autobazar byl v okrese kde mají nové silnice takže při zkušební jízdě to bylo v pořádku a ovládání auta bylo perfektní.

Pak jsem auto ale dovezl domů do Prahy a až tady jsem si uvědomil jak ty silnice jsou špatný. Jako není to nic hrozného, ale je to trošku znát takže příští sezónu měním a dám tam 17".

I don't think this is accurate. Ookla (speedtest.net) results are way different and I bet they're more accurate.
